My first trip to WDW and DH's first time being arrested (Dec 2009)

Can't wait for the next post! I told myself I couldn't check again till I made dinner, so I hurried up and made it as fast as I could so I could check real quick, but when you wern't on we enjoyed a nice dinner (Mickey waffles and Mickey sausages,) but now it's over and I am ready to hear more!

(Oh, and just a side note, maybe he gets looks cause some women have a thing for the sexy cowboy type. Think of it as a compliment.)

I am enjoying it because it's interesting...I think a lot of us are on here just trying to ignore the naysayers and the arguing. There are a lot of us who just want the story from you!

You are ruining it for everyone else. And its actually quite annoying, frustrating and obviously hurtful to Lee.

Ok Im going to get flamed here but as I was reading the first part I thought "If Rig doesn't have a cellphone which in jail he didn't, then why did you plug your phone up to be charged. Also speaking if Rig doesnt have a TV which in jail he didnt, why did you turn yours on? That means you shouldn't have taken a shower because he maybe didnt take a shower either" I mean I understand he was in jail but I dont think you should have felt that much guilt to actually sleep on the floor and stop everything for it. Its my two cents on this installment

AGREED. ignore the negative/rude/and the ridiculous questions... Im pretty sure one poster said there is practically no way snow white could have a long line.. GET A GRIP!!! It is Disney world.. and crowds and lines can change by the hour... actually really change by the minute!

Keep writing. Just remember, people are going to say what they want. As I tell my girl it all comes down to how you react to what people say. You can either let them bring you down (which is easy to do - trust me, I have been there before) or you can ignore them and carry on. I get good and bad reactions regarding my girls and the fact that one of them is adopted.

If you go somewhere else to continue, take me with you!

In life you are going to meet people who act like they have it all together. Trust me, as I counselor, I see all kinds of people who act like they have it all together and often treat others like they are better because they have it all together, but trust me, behind closed doors they are often the ones who have all kinds of problem.

I know that you talked in one of your posts about going on to college or other schooling. I think you should do it. If you ever want advice, I am happy to help!

This is how I can't leave packing to the last minute.

I have 4 children. 13, 12, 5, and 3 are their ages. I have been looking ALL OVER THIS HOUSE for clothes I know exist. Looking for clothes that still fit, making sure the clothes I find are clean, and not just thrown back into drawers. Its taken me all day to just sort out their clothes. If I left that to the last minute, it wouldn't be pretty.

I can't even put into words what my living room looks likes.

And then you had to go and put up another chapter!

Lee, sorry to interrupt, but monymony was nice enough to send me 2 huge boxes of little girl clothes her girls had outgrown when my grandaughter was born (lots of disney stuff) she never even met us in person, but was SO nice to do that!

lee, you should have tried the Blackened cat fish at Coral Reef.. it is SO good!

While reading this very amusing trip report, I find it very similiar to a trip that was posted on the DIS in the past. The writing style is so similiar. This was a report that was posted a couple years ago and it also got alot of attention. I can not remember the poster's name but maybe some one else will.

It was about a family that was a blended family--Mom with kids from prior relationship who was married to DH who did not have kids but got wonderfully with her 2 teen daughters. Mom also had a DS that was either getting ready to go into the Army or was already in the Army and joined the family for a WDW vacation. Throughout the trip report the Mom was always saying "love you, mean it".

I throughly enjoyed that trip report but have not seen any other posts from this Mom in several years. :

Her trip report was a riot and held everyone's attention, it was very long and very detailed and had tons of replies and fans--just like this report.

If anyone recalls this trip report, please tell me the posters name, because it is driving me crazy!

Did I believe that report or this one is the truth and nothing but the truth? NO way!

Did I enjoy reading that trip report and also this one---YES!

Do I think someone should post a trip report that has been greatly embellished, but by omission of this fact--leads readers to assume it is true---Absolutely NO, NO, NO!!!

Do I think both writers of the trip reports actually visited WDW during the stated times--Yes!

Do I think that all posters on the DIS tell the truth all the time--NO!
HOWEVER, I think the DIS posters that lie or embellish (which ever word you prefer) are definitely in the minority and NOT the majority on the DIS.

Do I still think this trip report and the previously mentioned TR are mostly entertaining fiction--WITHOUT A DOUBT----Yes!

My vote is to continue the saga, it is a much more entertaining than tv which is nothing but re-runs this time of year!

I just hate trouble makers, and injustice. I know the police were doing what they had to, getting 2 dif. stories and all, but Rig did everything he could to AVOID a fight!

The waffle iron is OLD, and I will be so sad when it is gone. I also have a cinderella one, I use it sometimes but not tonight. It is she and Prince Charming in the carriage. They both came from The World of Disney Store, the Mickey one in Florida and the Cinderella one from NYC. Haven't seen either in years, the little ones are cute but with a family of 5 I'd go crazy! As for the sausage, I just take the roll of Bob Evan's sausage and make large and small balls and flatten them and smooth where the ears and head meet to have them hold. A cookie cutter would be good too I am sure, but BIG (at least my MM cookie cutter would be.) I wish I knew how to post a photos, I'd show you. But since I don't post photos, I never bothered to learn.

Oh no! Lee please continue your TR. I have been enjoying it so much. Ignore the naysayers. You will always have people that doubt you...on the DIS board and in real life. You know what you are writing is the truth. I am thankful you are giving this stay home mom of 2 young ones (2 and 4) some entertainment. I do believe what you have written, but even if I didn't I am enjoying the read and am thankful for it. Hoping you continue!

Del's wife trip reports were very much like Riglee's report---some fact, 75% embellishments and fiction, but a very funny and entertaining read!!!
