My first trip to WDW and DH's first time being arrested (Dec 2009)

Dare I say what they bring to my kingdom? I think if they know they would double up and enjoy.

I will write the story for me and Rig, but whether I continue it here is the question. thank you tickeldog

:scared1::sad1::sad2::scared1:

I'm finally caught up and you're going away??!! say it isn't so!

I had to research her and found her website where she posts. It was indeed Delswife
Thanks for the link! I had not read the 2005 trip report-- I am assuming it was not posted on the DIS.
Thanks again! It was fun reading the 2005 trip report from Del's wife! :)
It seems as though no further posts were made by Del's wife since 2005---unless I am missing something. Which is entirely possible, LOL!!!!
If anyone has any more recent trip reports from Del's wife on any website please post a link!!
Thanks for the update!!

The waffle iron is OLD, and I will be so sad when it is gone. I also have a cinderella one, I use it sometimes but not tonight. It is she and Prince Charming in the carriage. They both came from The World of Disney Store, the Mickey one in Florida and the Cinderella one from NYC. Haven't seen either in years.

OMG! I so need a Mickey and Cinderella waffle iron. I need to send an e-mail to Disney that they need to offer those again. I have a blue Mickey collander that I love and it makes me so happy to use. Now I need some Disney kitchen appliances.

Lee, since you and Rig are right around the ages of my children I feel the need to mother both of you. I already told you to never sleep on a hotel floor again and now I need to tell Rig to put ice on his eye so the swelling goes down. I also agree I would consider being taken off in the back of a police cruiser and having photos and finger prints as going to jail.

Please keep posting. I need to hear some more good and happy things to offset the bad.

I've spent the last few hours reading your trip report. Thanks for sharing I've smiled a lot reading it tonight

I used to have the Micley blender, but it was awful and when it died I was secretly kind of happy. I have the Cinderella toaster. I burns her shoe into your toast. It aslo plays the Waltz when then toast pops up. I love it. Hubby still grabs my hands and twirls me when it goes off. :lovestruc
All my dishes, glasses, you mane it is Mickey (well, if not Mickey then another character, but mostly Mickey.) I have not grown up yet (hope I never do!) :goodvibes

I feel like Rose at the end of Titanic.... Come Back... Please Come Back!!

Lee please don't go because of a few negative comments. Just ignore them. The majority of us truly enjoy your TR and hope you will continue.

It took me 2 hours to select posts that were debates, nonsense and private messages. I went to click to delete, because I don't want to give anyone warnings. Somehow, everything got de-selected. So........

From this point forward, I will delete off topic subjects, and anything good or bad that is debating. Please do not add links to other websites that ask for donations. I said as long as guidelines are met, the thread will not be closed. And, please take the personal messages to PM's. Does that sound right. I think the OP would appreciate knowing how much you want her TR to continue, but think of the rest of the lurkers and posters that have to go through post after post of begging her to continue. She or he either does or doesn't.

To the OP:
When you mention your dh, I think of the 2 cowboy brothers that were on The Amazing Race. I think their names were Cord and Jet. Both of them, could of married my dd's any day. I think you have a winner.

I thought of them too! I don't have much cowboy experience but I loved them. I also have a girlfriend from Oklahoma who did rodeos. Her phrasing of things is adorable. She calls dh's "honeys." So instead of saying, "What does your husband say?" she always says, "what's your honey say?" And she calls her own dh "lover." Just like that, not weird or anything, that's what he is so that's what she calls him. It's so adorably charming. I'm gonna ask her Sunday when I see her what she calls pop back home.

We live in Ohio & she calls it pop now too. When I moved to NYC I called it soda like they called it. And now it's back to pop. It's just easier to call it what the people around you do even if that isn't native to your area.

My favorite southern phrase, though, is one time I was in a Piggly Wiggly in Georgia & the bagger says, "You want this in the poke?" I  that some people call bags pokes. I don't get it, but it is super charming.

Still interested in your story Lee, hope to see an update soon.

I will be back tomorrow evening to post about our day at Hollywood studios.Everybody have a great night, and a great day tomorrow.

Lee,

Just wanted to say thanks for the trip report it has kept me reading for the evening. Glad to see the police were able to cut rig loose without any charges. As an officer I'm kinda surprised they took them both with no one wanting to press charges but then again sometimes its easier to just make the problem "go away" and let them cool down.

As a paramedic I'd second the future recomendation for ice on the swelling it would have helped.

Anyway just wanted to say looking forward to reading the rest of your story and I'm glad your sharing it.
