My first trip to WDW and DH's first time being arrested (Dec 2009)

My Dh calls me Sugar bears:goodvibes

That is sweet. When DH and I were dating he used to cal me Pumpkin Brains, not sure how it started but I actually loved it, thought it was special. He still sometimes calls me that. My name now though is cotton, and I love it.

Oh my...I feel so bad for Rig! It really sucks when you try to be the good guy and do the right thing and you have to take others crap for it....and then get beat up for it.

Mine is Twinky which may sound silly, but I find it cute. Although my DH knows I hate Twinkys. I have sometimes get Pumpkin Head. This actually started as something cute when he called me pumpkin and then one day he added the head part. It is now our joke.

We have been married for 18 years and have know each other for 26 years!

Pumpkin head is so close to Pumpkin brains. :rotfl: I love it!
Twinkie is not silly, it's adorable.
My hubby and I have been married 17, together almost 20. I was 15 when we married, 16 when we got engaged and 17 when we married. BEST decision I ever made (but now we have a 15 eyar old and that is so :scared1::scared1::scared1: !) :rotfl:

Isn't funny, that no matter what they call us, we are gonna love it. Just cuz it's them:rotfl:

I agree with these 2 posts. Even though I have been reading this thread every day, I am reading into it more as a good fictional book, rather than a real life story.

Gotta chime in that I agree with this, and not just because it's a sappy love story. There are some inconsistencies and big question marks, and I don't think a 19-year-old first-time writer could write this well (so my disbelief is a compliment, in a way).

It's a good story, but I think it's fiction, and I don't think it's OK to try to pass off fiction as non-fiction.

To Pumpkin Brains from Pumpkin Head

Actually sometimes he does call me Pumpkin Brains.

We met when I was 14, but did not date until I was a senior college and married one year later. When we started dating our friends kept telling us it was about time.

We had 7+ years of unexplained infertility. Then we started the adoption process and I got pregnant. It was a hard pregnancy and I almost lost her a number of times. Now we have a biological daughter who is 8 and an adopted daughter from China who is also 8. They are 80 days apart. I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease after my daughter was born and that explains the unexplained infertility.

xoxo, from one Pumpkin to another

Awww, your daughters must be so close, how nice! I have typed this story several times here on DIS, but I will again cause I thin you will appreciate it.
My grandparents met when they were 8. That day on the plaground my grandpa ran over to grandma, gave her a peck on the cheek and said he was going to marry her someday. They never dated anyone else. When they were in HS my grandma's father said they were too serious and made them stop seeing each other, even then they never dated anyone. They got married right after HS and have been very happily married (some would say "sappily" married) for 53.5 years.

I feel so bad for Rig and I wonder if anything was actually in the envelope or just a cruel joke. can't wait to read more I'm hooked.

That is a great story! Nice when love find you like that!

My girls are close, but also typical siblings so sometimes they can really bother the heck out of each other.

Proud to say I am all packed, as of 11:30pm I am packed! Phew!

We have 2 rooms at Pop. My favorite place.

Walking by Goofy won't be the same, not with the visions I have of Rig.:rotfl:

And we are driving.

Good for you for finishing the packing!!:cool1: I have less than half of mine done. The kids don't know we are even going out of town, let alone to Disney so I'm having to hide stuff in rubbermaid totes in my closet! There is no where to hide suitcases so I'm gonna have to pull it all out Friday morning and throw it together before we pick them up at school at noon! Wish me luck!!:rotfl:

Believe me, my girls too! They will fight, I will seperate them, them I am mean for keeping them from their sister. When they were little and did this I told my hubby I thought we needed some family therapy, it was so weird to me. He just laughed and said they were perfectly healthy siblings. I, being an only, couldn't understand it. Seeemed to weird to me, but now I get it, there is a fine line between love and hate sometimes with the 3 of them, thankfully more days then not it's love.

I'm thinking poor Rig was set up. I mean they were trying to get him drunk and then going to provoke him into throwing the first punch

What inconsistencies?

Why couldn't a 19 year old be well educated?

Lee (and Rig), I am so sorry to 'hear' about how awful Truck was! To me, it sounds like Truck has some issues (I see a little jealousy).

Sadly, though, I can relate -- my husband has also been wrongly accused for something... I know how emotionally draining it be.

I am hoping that due to Rig's gentleman demeanor, the Police will know who real guilty person is.

My sister won some kind of literary achievement award for creative writing when she was 16. She is a phenomenal writer.. So I would say that a 19 year old could be more then capable of writing this way.. as for it not being ok to pass off fiction as non fiction.. thats right.. but who said she was doing that.. those are just a few PP's opinions.

Even if it is fiction.. who cares.. she went to Disney.. she is a talanted writer and is combining those to give us something more then the run of the mill TR..

Lee I love your TR.....keep it up and finish your TR we are all loving it!!!

As for Truck and Tonya.. they remind me of some not so friendly family members in mine and my DH's family. I hope everything works out ok and Im anxious to hear the rest!!
