Helloooo. I figured I should start a (pre)trip report for WDW. I've never done one before, but I love reading them.
In our party is:
We used to go one summer every time our parents felt like planning a trip. Now we go just about every year, but we've just started doing that.

The "Cast":
Me, 13
Brother, 13
Brother, 5
Mom
Dad

Our previous trips were:
2000(my first trip): I was 6 and coming out of Kindergarten. We stayed for 7 days during Easter break. We stayed at the Swan side of the Swan and Doplhin. It was very fun from what I remember, but some of the villains at the parks seemed to intimidate me a bit. (Jafar.....)

2004 (Wow, big time difference!): We stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort. I was 10 years old. That year we had went with my cousin's family as well. It was me, my two brothers, my parents, my cousin, and her parents. 8 people! :O Hehe, we went in late August through early September. Just our luck, Hurrican Frances hit Florida around the time of our departure. We figured it was just going to rain a bit more. Well, it was bad. Our flight home was cancelled and we had to rent a car and drive home. 21 hours in a mini-van with 7 other people all around you!! It was crazy. My little brother (then 3) was crying through the trip, until he discovered a coffee pot to play with. We were so relieved to get back home!

2006: This was last year. We stayed at the Swan and Dolphin, the Dolphin side. (In my opinion, better than Swan). We had a great time! Tackling more rides than before. This trip was very well planned.

And now, for our 2007 trip to the World.
We are going to stay at the Swan and Dolphin, on the Dolphin side again. We tried the Port Orleans but it was booked. As a matter of fact, just about all the hotels were booked, except the POP Century and ALL Star Resorts. We didn't want to stay there.
We are going for August 28 (yeah, we're very late planners)
Its going to be me, my mom, and my two brothers. My dad is going to come for the last three days of the trip because he can't get out of work for too long.
So far:
Booked the plane tickets. August 28 through September 4th
Booked our hotel.
We didn't get our Park Hoppers yet. Last year we saved it until the end, and the prices shot up again. I'm hoping that we get them soon, just in case. We are most likely going sometime this week to the Disney Store near us to purchase them.
We purchased our Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World and our Passporter. (Can't go on a trip without them)

Now, we need to:
Get swimsuits!
Purchase Park Hoppers
Fill in our Passporter :P
Pack up the luggage.
Watch some disney movies (feeling that magic before helps get through the anxiousness of actually being there soon)
........
........
........
Dance!:dance3:

UPDATE: We booked a couple of restaurants.
We are going to Crystal Palace and Coral Reef so far for the second and third day of our trip. Can't wait. I have never been to Coral Reef before but we've been going to Crystal Palace since our first trip.
Thanks so much for reading!
This is my first pre-trip report so I hope I put everything I should in!

I hope you have a great time. Thanks for sharing and starting your pre-trip with us.

You remind me soo much of my daughter!!!

Have a wonderful trip and fill us in when you get home. And don't forget the pictures!!!

Great job so far!!!!
I love seeing trip reports by fellow TB disers.
They inspire me for my own.

Tomorrow we are going to the NYC World of Disney to get our Parkhoppers!
I guess we're getting 5 of them, but one of them for 3 days. Whew, hope we don't confuse the "CMs" there, hehe.
I don't think we're going to the parks on the first day, but heck might as well get parkhoppers for it, just in case.
I can probably get my autograph books and fat pens from there too, you know, just so I don't have to wait in lines at the parks. Oh, I'm so prepared.
I love the NYC World of Disney. Last time we went, we got to meet Jack (don't worry girls, not the real Jack) Woot, it was great! They even have Photopass there, just like in the parks. We got to take pictures and view them online. We ordered a few too. I uploaded them. Here they are:
Sorry, they're a little dark and blurry but thats what I get from taking a picture of an actual picture.

We are counting down the days, can't wait until we're there!
Today, we called 407-WDW-DINE for some more dining reservations.
Most of the week's reservations are now prepared and ready to go! I read that we should be at the restaurant at least 15 minutes before our reservation time.
We're also thinkink of going to Rose & Crown's Pub maybe on the weekend at the end of our trip. Anyone go there? We wanted to go last time but never quite made it. Too much stuff to do, so little time!
I want to update this as soon as I can. No plans for tomorrow.
We got our park hoppers from the NYC World of Disney today. It took us a while to find their phone number until we finally just dialed 0. We couldn't get on a computer to get to the website because we were in the car.
I just wanted to ask if they sold Park Hoppers there. I figured they would but there's no point in going unless they have what we're going for, no? Well....it'd be nice to go there just for the Friendship Room (NYC World of Disney's own little Meet 'N' Greet area)
Thats where we went for Jack (picture above)

I guess thats enough of an update for now, thanks for reading!

We wanted to last time but it was booked.

UPDATE:

Well, we got one of the parkhoppers (heh, a bit later than I thought)
We went to the Disney Store (chain) and purchased one because they were more expensive than the ones sold at World of Disney (say $30 each?)

Arggg, it seems so far away...but it isn't. How do you get through?
I've been watching a couple of Disney movies. Yesterday we watched Mickey's Christmas Carol Sing-Alongs. Ahh, I really want to go for MVMCP.
*Some year*, we might consider going during Christmas. *sigh*

Our Unofficial Guide is missing pages! :O About seventy-something pages were ripped out. I noticed when I read it on to the next page and it made no sense at all. We need to go return it and get a new one.

I shall try to keep you updated.
Thanks for reading. :thumbsup2

Have you made reservations for Rose and Crown?
It's a really good resteraunt. I went there with my cousins in May.
It was SO much fun.
Great pre-trippie!
Keep us updated. :)

^Nope not yet. I need to ask my mom if we can. We'll probably go for lunch one day.
