My First TR..hopefully first of many to come!!! April 9-15!!! Whoo 2 months!

Hi All!!!!

I had started a pre trip report earlier for our orginal dates in March...but we ended up having to change our dates to April. DH had work conflict...I was bummed at first but now am ok with it.


We will be staying at All Star Movies. This will be our first time at a Value on our first trip we stayed at CBR. I picked Movies because I think my 4 year old will love the theming.


Hope to have some followers on our pre trip journey!!!

Ok I am starting to slowly get ready for the trip and have started some shopping.

A few items I have gotten and want to get before we leave:

got this for DD to wear at Tusker House breakfast. Ordered from sissybritches on etsy!

Like both of these! Not sure which I will get for DD yet. Can order from mylittlelegacies on etsy!

Love, Love ordering these for all 3 of us to wear one day!!! Can order from pixiecrafts on etsy!

Going to get the zebra one for me for AK and love the lil diva jasmine for DD but she has decided she wants one of Jasmines tiger so she is making one with the tiger for DD to wear to princess breakfast. Can order these and many more from debbiemomofjack on etsy!

and picked up this for DD at oldnavy they also have cindy, minnie and a dalmation!

Drive 10 hours on April 9th! Arrive around 3 or 4 pm. Check in and then probably head to DTD for dinner and may come back and swim.

Hi!!! Thanks for popping over! I know I hope it isnt too bad either..hopefully we will be pleasantly surprised. I was very bummed for a while,becasue we had planned to go the beginning of March booked and all and DH had a conflict come up at work...I was bummed to move to April...but what can you do.....I am just glad to be going back!!!!!

I guess I need to introduce us!!!!

Me: I am 30 years old and work for the City I live in for the Parks and Recreation Department. If you have to work it is a very good job to have.


DH: 30 years old he works for a company that owns malls and shopping centers...he has more of a corporate job.

DD: 4 she sweet, energetic little girl and can be shy at times.


Neither one of us grew up going to Disney but when I had DD I knew it would be something I wanted to start. Took our first trip in 09 and DD was 2 but yet she remembers a lot from our trip and still talks about it. I had a hard time talking DH into going back but he agreed for DD!!!

Cute shirts, I may have to go on Etsy and look!!! We will be in the parks the same time as you! We are flying in on April 9th, and then leaving April 16th. We are going for our two childrens birthdays, DS is turning 8 on the 13th and DD is turning 6 on the 15th.

I can't wait to hear more about your plans. We will be in a few parks on the same day I feel like I still need to put some finishing touches on our plans, but have come to a stand still, so looking for inspiration here!

We will be at the WL!! It's our first trip to WDW, we've gone the past few years to DL instead...Very excited

What are your opinions on the shows/attractions. I am blind in my right eye so I cant see in but DH and DD can are they still worth doing? I am an example of why kids shouldnt be allowed to play with sticks..my older Brother was slinging one around and I walked right into it when I was 18 months old...I actually have some vision in my eye...like maybe 5% everything is really really blurred....but since it has been this way my whole life I have just trained myself not to use it.......
