My first ressie at OKW!!

I just booked my first reservation to OKW. My first choice of BCV two-bedroom was not available but they had OKW two-bedroom available for mid October. It's funny at BCV the first two days were available but booked the next two days then avail the next day but booked that last day. I didn't feel like hopping from room to room.

I did wait list the three-bedroom at OKW due to the fact that as soon as my family found out that I had DCV they became my new best friend and would like to vacation with my family. They never wanted to before!

I was going to call back in a couple of weeks to find out if any two-bedrooms were available at BCV for the last week of October. Does anyone have preference on the two-bedroom in OKW or BCV? I have a family of five with a 2, 13, and 14 year old. They are very active and my wife and I are very casual. We would be happy with either of these locations though.

You'll lovethe Grand Villa (3 bedroom) at OKW if that works out, but the 2 bedrooms are very nice also. I have not stayed at Beach Club but I think OKW rooms will be bigger than BC. We like OKW better than other resorts, whether we are staying with children or nor. SOme people prefer the activities around the Boardwalk area so there is something for everyone!

Good luck on your waitlist. OKW is a great resort. You are going to enjoy it. It is very relaxing!

Does anyone have preference on the two-bedroom in OKW or BCV? I have a family of five with a 2, 13, and 14 year old.

We own at BCV - but - our first preference is always OKW. We like the extra room, the lower points and the fact that we can park at our door step. We also like the expanded deck and the serenity of the place.

But, I think in your situation it is a tough call - and it really depends upon what you value:

I would say go for OKW for room size. With 3 kids the extra room is a bonus. You can make meals in a much larger kitchen and escape and get some peace on the deck. If the Unofficial Guide to WDW is correct, then, the 2 bdrm room sizes are: 1333 sqft at OKW and 1083 at BCV.

I would say go to BCV for the Pool. The kids will love the pool and it will easily take up a day to a day and a half of the kids attention. Being able to stroll over to Epcot is another huge plus!

I think they are both great options though - and - you can not go wrong no matter what the final decision is.

I also do not think you will have a problem with the waitlist. But, I could be wrong.
