My First pre cruise nitemare

I had read about others, never thought it would happen to me! I had a nightmare that DCL gave away my verhanda room, and I had to sleep in a closet....then couldnt find my nephew! I knew he was on board somewhere, but nobody knew where he was.

my pre-cruise "nightmare" last year was that I was on the 10th deck trying to film the water on our video camera and I dropped it overboard. I don't know for sure why the thought of that scared me so much, but it used to wake me up out of a dead sleep!! LOL

I booked our Oct. 2003 cruise in July of 2002 and tried to put it out of my mind so I wouldn't go crazy waiting 15 months. I dreamt several times last fall that I had forgotten about the cruise until the last minute and didn't have time to check the boards and websites to make plans.

BD...you crack me up. I came out of that closet years ago At any rate I am glad I am not the only one that has the precruise nitemares

I have been having nightmares also...the last one...I had forgotten everything but our carry on bag at embarkation.

I had a dream before one of our first Western Itinerary cruise that the Mexican police would not let me board the ship in Cozumel. My whole family was onboard but they told me I had to stay and get a job!!!

I was telling my husband about this post and he thinks we're all nuts.

My most frequently occuring cruise nightmare was that we get on the ship and get sidetracked by either how beautiful the ship is or suddenly time speeds up for everyone but us and we miss making spa or Palo reservations.

I had another one where my husband couldn't go at the last minute (this is a celebration of our 5th anniversary so it's a big deal for us to be together) so I took my mom instead who doesn't like cruises. Then somehow I fall off the boat and everyone waves goodbye to me in the water.

I think I was having too many nightmares due to too much planning. So to stop the dreams, I stopped planning as much . . . for about 2 days.

I had one the other night that we missed the ship!

We left our houses too late....but somehow I got there and was trying to talk the boat into waiting for the rest of my party but they wouldn't.

What a nightmare!

Our nightmare became a reality last year. I can now say Im a survivor.

This year there will be NO nightmares.

You know whats so silly is that I am having surgery in 4 days and you would think I would be having nightmares about it, not if I get stuck in a closet on DCL!

I dreamt that we got to the terminal and had NO ID!!!! We were there and they woudn't let us on!!!! I will say this nightmare settled the question about whether to bite it and get our passports...





which we went ahead and did!
