can you freakin' believe it?? Another major storm on the way....:scared1: Where the heck are we going to put all this snow???!!! Have you shoveled your roof yet? I wonder what they do in Minnesota.:rolleyes1

I am getting sick of it. We have a couple of ice dams on our roof that my husband has been regularly taking a sledgehammer to, and the snow is piled so high on the street corners that its hard to drive safely around town - you can't tell if there's a car coming without pulling into the intersection to take a peek. Now another foot coming, and probably another snow day! What a rogue winter we are having here.

LOL!!!! We had to have our plow guy come with a bobcat and widen our driveway. The last time he plowed, the snow just fell back down. I don't really drink, but I think I'm going to start! What the heck, I won't be able to drive anywhere because our roads will be closed for at least five days!!

AT LEAST!;)

Nikita, we have the same situation at the corner of my street. So dangerous. They really should remove it, but then where would they put it?

*ugh* I can't even think about it! I have to drive to the Cape tomorrow; I just hope that I make it back (1/2 hour south of Boston) before the roads get too bad. :sad2:

I spent the last 6 years of my Air Force career at Hanscom AFB, and when I retired, we decided to live in Hudson NH. With great regrets, we had to leave, and move to San Antonio.
Watching all the weather reports, and looking at friends pics on FaceBook, I am glad to be back down south!

Where I live the majority of them have been Wednesday storms too......... for crying out loud ENOUGH already!

Well, I grew up in So MN. We'd get snow, but not like this. Cold was more of a problem. We also didn't get the "ice" that the East Coast gets.

Do you know where the off switch is for snow? If so, please tell me..I need to turn it to the "off" position!!! LOL

Y'all stay safe. If I could send you some of our warm temps from the last 2 days, I would.

I'm SO ready for this winter to be over!

Our roof is raked, we just got back a while ago from doing my parents roof and I just do not want more snow, but especially no ICE!

We've lucked out for the most part with the ice stuff, but the predictions for this storm are on the border if we are going to get just snow or a mix. I'm praying for snow. Did I just say that????

I am in socal and am actually jealous of all your snow days and hunkering down. I don't envy losing power but the rest sounds fun!

we own a three story apt bld and my husband spent two days and a total of 7 hours on the roof pushing the snow and ice off.....then Sunday he spent three hours removing the snow on the ground ...we have no place to put any snow this coming Wednesday....we are in the 12 - 18 mark...OH and our snowblower is in the shop.....its been there for over a week..

Since we have a leaking window I am hoping for snow too! Not sure where the water is coming from it doesn't appear that anything has been able to melt!

The roof is shoveled off pretty much, at least where we can reach. But the kids are even tired of snow days! Would be nice if we could catch a break...guess we'll wait and see.

I love hunkering down, too. Heck, I don't even mind losing power (for a little while, anyway).

But unfortunately most of us have to shovel out and drive to work in it and that part stinks!! :headache:

Both my sister and I are getting sick of going outside and shoveling and snowplowing all this snow. Pretty soon I will not be able to see our mailbox because of the snow around it. The channel 7 weatherman has changed how much snow we were going to get from 15 to 20 inches now it for my area it is 20 to 28 inches.

Thank goodness the Cape has been getting very little of these storms...enough to have a few snow days so far but nothing like it is 30 minutes from here. Yea, snow can be fun and snow days even more fun but people are breaking their backs shoveling and moving snow around. Take care all of you south shore and Boston peeps, take your time shoveling and going around those corners:)

Well, we just got the Robo-call letting us know that the kids will have school tomorrow, but it will be an early dismissal day. That way it counts as a full day of school, but the kids will get home hopefully before it gets too bad.

I have to say, our Superintendent sounded a little exasperated on her message. Even made the point that most of the snowbanks are taller than all of the Elementary school students, and taller than many of the Middle Schoolers.
