My evil plan is working!

Dh has never been a disney fan. i think he held it against them that I left him for a semester back in 1996 to go do the college program. We were living together at the time and about to graduate. So he supported me doing it, but wasn't that thrilled i moved for another state for a semester. He's been a few times, always with me and put up with it, but was never that into it.

but maybe he is finally 'getting it'.

So DH showed interest in doing the DVC tour while we were at DAP in Dec. I jumped on the chance. So we did and now we are seriously considering buying at BLT. I never in a million years would have thought he would even consider DVC. so it was never even on my radar before. woo hoo!!!

And today, he bought some disney stock (he is big into trading). I think the conversion has begun. All it took was a great trip in Dec with our son and i think he sees the light now.

Well I know how you feel, my partner dosent get it either. But he did take the DVC tour and he let mt buy at BLT! I was so excited, he was sold on the Hawaii resort and that we can go to other places as well. But it's a start. So hopefully you can convert yours

Woohoo congratulations! I'm in the process of convincing my sister to agreeing to go with us to orlando in july! So far it is working

My mother has a good success story with my father. She went on a solo trip for a week and looked round a DVC resort. As soon as she got back she showed me, but decided to drip feed it to dad, get the idea into his head and let it mull over.

About two years later she bought into DVC, which by that point my dad 'oked' but wasn't sure about.

However by the next time they went together not only did he love the resort, but he asked her if they could look at the other showrooms!

So although he isn't obsessed like my mom and I, he is slowly coming round to the idea
