I'm ringless right now. I had to have my wedding band and angagement ring cut off. I was so sad, I haven't had them off in 13 years since we were married. It's been a couple of weeks now and my finger still hasn't returned to normal yet.
I'm going to get them fixed, but they are so worn out I'm probably going to need new bands. I'll get thicker ones this time. The jeweler said I was lucky that the diamond was still there because the prongs were so worn out!!

I think your ring's really great! I am worried that the Mickey will snap off, but O rings are easily replaced (as long as you don't lose Mickey).

If you do happened to mess up this ring, consider a titanium ring for your next one (or your wedding band, when you buy that). It's light, EXTREMELY tough, and not very expensive. You would lose your finger before you'd break titanium. Here's a website: http://titanium.hypermart.net/

I think it's adorable! I have seen other Mickey bands at WDW (various stores). I have seen them in silver, so they would go with your engagement ring. I am thinking of getting one.


As for Cosmic_Charlie, *** is wrong with you?? Not everyone wants a real diamond. To call someone's ring trash is uncalled for and mean.

The only store I know if is in Downtown Disney. They sell all the glass ware. They also have a website with a ton of cute Disney stuff. I have the charms from them and I get so many complements. I love these rings...I have one with a red insert...DH got it for me Christmas 05. This would look great with what seems to be the OP's style!

I have one of the Mickey bands in silver that we bought on Main St several years ago, and DH has a similar one. We bought them to use when swimming/doing yardwork/etc where there was a higher chance we might lose/bash our gold bands. They worked out great, until DH lost his (at least it wasn't his regular wedding band!). I still wear mine if we're going to the beach or somewhere that I don't want to have to worry about it. We're hoping to find him a replacement when we go at the end of April. Does anyone know if they still sell the Mickey bands anywhere?
