First of all, merry Christmas!
Now, I have to share this...
I have told my family over and over that I would love to spend just one Christmas in WDW and they have always said, "No way". I just loved it when we were down there for New Years 1999/2000, with all the decorations.
Anyway, since my sister is in California and doesn't come out for the holidays, it is only the 4 of us and my parents (who are 77 and 82), and I never expected that they would want to go away for the holidays, nor would it be an option to go and leave them here alone.
Well, this morning, I was watching the WDW parade , and I again said that before I die, I would spend a Christmas in WDW. I then went over to my parents' inlaw apt. (over our garage) and guess what they were watching??? And you won't believe what my mom said when I walked in!!!
(And I quote...)
"Wouldn't you love to spend a Christmas there?"
I almost fell over! I thought she was kidding! Then she said later,
"We are probably too late to make a reservation, right?"
Can you believe this??????
So, my dream MAY come true, and I might be spending Christmas 2003 at WDW!!!!!!!
It works out great point-wise, too, because we could do Sunday or Monday to Friday or Saturday and use either one or no weekend days!
Sorry for rambling. I just NEVER thought those words would come out of my mom's mouth. I mean, they love Disney and go with us for a few days every February, but over Christmas???????
