My dog was poisoned by my neighbor on purpose

No comparison from me. I simply pointed out what should be obvious to anyone - that breaking the law does not make one crazy... :rolleyes1

Just my personal opinion. Anyone who can intentionally cause intense pain and possibly death to an innocent pet is hideous!!! Death by poisoning is very painful and cruel.

If anyone has an issue with an animal, they should take it up with the owner or law enforcement. Not take it into their own hands by causing misery to an animal that doesn't know any better.

Is the snow getting to you or something? Because it sounds to me like you just want to argue semantics about a topic that any rational person is disgusted by.
What, am I not entitled to my opinion? Am I not rational because I see things differently than you? Seriously?

Anyone who knowingly poisons their neighbors dog IS crazy. I fail to see any rational reason one might murder their neighbors pet. We aren't talking about leaving poison out for raccoons or squirrels or nuisance birds/critters. SO yes, Bama, if the neighbor poisoned the dog...she crazy.

I agree 100%... :thumbsup2

It isn't that she broke the law it is WHAT she did that makes her crazy, especially since she has done it at least TWICE.

Unless there have been posts that have disappeared, the OP has provided no evidence that she has any proof that the neighbour did anything once. Much less at least twice.

I do not condone poisoning animals, nor do I condone people feeding feral cats. In our neighborhood, there are several. DH has a live trap and turns them loose far away. While some may see 'this' as cruel,we get tired of picking up their crap, seeing them 'mating' in the street, getting in the trashcans, etc.

Not everyone loves animals (or even likes them). I know many people that would kill a dog or cat for continuously pooping in their yard. Sounds harsh, but it doesn't make them crazy.

To the OP - I hope that your Champy pulls through. If he does, keep him away from that neighbor's property...

Holy crap. It absolutely does make them crazy. I'm not going to argue semantics about a word, because words mean different things to different people, but I find it seriously concerning that you don't think poisoning a pet is crazy. It's sick and also called cruelty to animals, which carries a felony sentence in 46 states.

She doesn't have to provide evidence. This isn't a court of law. Don't believe her if you don't want to.

You are absolutely entitiled to your opinion. Tryin to sound rational in explaining why it's ok to poison someones pet, not so much. Seriously.

Oh, so now you are concerned about me? Thanks... :goodvibes

That's not cruel- they're wild cats.

I'd like to hear more details too because I gotta tell you--if someone had ever tried to poison Max once, it would be a cold day in Hades before that person got a second chance.

I don't know where the OP lives, but around here, dogs belong on leashes. If a dog is out roving around unsupervised, it faces a lot of dangers including this. Keep your dog under your control on a leash, and a crazy person can't get to it.

Oh for Petesake. Anytime an OP doesn't come running back to a thread to give an update or to answer the demands of those who respond, IMMEDIATELY just have to be a troll? I'm so sick and tired of people jumping all over OP's for this stuff. So she didn't tell you why she believed her pet was intentionally poisoned, in what manner, with what drug etc...What is this, "Law and Order"? Maybe she is tending to her sick dog. Or maybe she has a life outside the DIS. Don't want to believe her? Fine...But cut the accusations.

And if she were a troll, everyone knows the best way to deal with one is to ignore them.

You people...seriously.

A little too much caffeine this morning, Jennasis? Geeeez......

Hey, it's been an interesting conversation. We aren't a jury- we don't need all the facts. :thumbsup2
