and still going to the AC with handsome stranger... I'll just have two dates that night instead of one (I hope the handsome stranger is okay with this )

Where is Franklin??? I live in the metro-atl area! I call it "Smynings" but it's technically the Smyrna/Vinings area. I thought I had replied to you earlier but I think I accidently skipped over you, I'm so sorry! I hate to hear that you'll be coming as I'm going... it seems to be that way with every one! I really enjoyed the food and wine festival last year... it's a good thing there aren't any pics floating around of *that* part of the trip

It's okay if it doesn't work out! Truthfully, I just love the adventure of it all! I've never been a spontaneous person and have always regretted that! I just don't ever want to wonder "what if..." I'm so flipping excited I can't stand it!! I'm so excited to meet you, Timmy, Sha,... and I can't remember who else is going but I can't wait to meet them either!! As far as the AC goes, we'll see what happens. I really don't want to interfere with Handsome Stranger's life.... I don't want to make him feel bad if he doesn't want to go after all is said and done. He has offered to meet us there, and I'd really really like that, but I'm not going to hold him to it unless he brings it up again while we're there.

Franklin is about 60 miles SW of Atlanta, centrally located between Newnan, LaGrange & Carrollton in Heard County. I grew up not far from you in Lithia Springs, it's a small world after all.

My favorite Chinese restaurant is over there too!

Yes, I have a few aunts & cousins in Lithia, my Mom's house there is up for sale as she has Alzheimer's & had to move in with my Brother.

I had a couple of minutes to check out the latest hotwire rates for a weekly rental out of MCO... I need help!

Last month, I rented a car (midsize) for a couple of days at $17.00 a night.
The month before that I rented one (another midsize) for 4 days at $14.00 a day...

Just checked and here's what I came up with

$10.86 Economy
$12.00 Compact
$14.00 Midsize

Do you think the prices will go even lower???? We're still a ways out...

Those are great rates, Rebecca. We rarely get such good rates here in Toronto. Not sure if they will go down a lot more, but $14 is a good price for a midsize. Is this for your August trip, or for September?

I went ahead and booked the car

The car is for the September trip One week, including taxes, taxes, and more taxes = $107.81 for an economy car I'm happy!

All that I have left to plan for this trip is park n' fly and my DISigner T-shirts that I never did finish!

OH! Wait! That isn't all! We still have to discuss costume options for MNSSHP!!!! We'll do that this weekend

Wow. That's a really good rate, Rebecca. Do you find that having a car makes it easier to get around the parks, resorts and DTD? I'm not planning to rent one this trip, but perhaps for next year's trip, I might do that and make sure I have some time to do a bit of shopping at the outlet mall. I usually drive a lot on my holidays, so I'm glad to not have to get behind the wheel when I'm at WDW.

So, what are you thinking for you MNSSHP costume? I'm still thinking of dressing as Lilo, just have to find or make a suitable sundress for my costume.
