My Disney Movie Rewards Expire?

I got an email yesterday saying that they will expire and I too recently added movie tickets for points. So it's not due to inactivity....very strange.

Got the same email this week despite recent activity.

Hope it was just an error and we get a corrected email soon. I also got the email and just added points a month ago.

I got it too. I ordered one of the 5 point activity kits to download and now I bet I've put my computer at risk! Oh well, my health insurance already breached my entire family's identity. Wheeeeeeeeeee!

me too...emailed them about it...it has to be a glitch...and now my disney.com stuff is missing too...not a good week for my disney sites...

i'm on a Disney site on facebook (for former college programmers) and they said it was a glitch email.

However points do expire so just let that be a warning for everyone to keep an eye on them. I had mine expire without any sort of warning or email. I wasn't aware of the 210 expiration period last fall I added all my points and had a lot but was saving up for a nice reward and this summer I logged back in to add more movies and even possibly spend some points....only to realize I have 0 points! I was livid and really I still am!

FYI: According to their FAQ it is not enough to just log in to keep your points from expiring. You have to use or add points to be considered active now.

I got an email yesterday too. And I just entered a code from Inside Out blu ray last week. I emailed them to find out what's going on, but they have not written back. I don't know if I should try to use them up now or not

I ordered the mystery DVD for 350 points because I didn't want to lose my stash. I have no idea what I'm saving up for, but I want to keep saving just in case!

I just received this email message stating that the previous email was a mistake:

"On November 21, 2015, you may have inadvertently received an email from Disney Movie Rewards about points expiration. This email was sent in error. Please know that your account is currently active, and no action is needed from you at this time.

To ensure points on your account are current and active, please log into your account at www.DisneyMovieRewards.com, and select "My DMR" from the navigation bar at the top of the page. I'm a bit irritated.... I received the email stating that my points were going to expire, so I logged in and ordered something I didn't necessarily want. Then I received the follow-up email today saying that the first message was sent in error, and that no need to worry, my points weren't going to expire after all. Darn it! I wanted to save those points for something better! I did sent them an email to let them know I'm disappointed in their "glitch."

I did the samething. I ordered a mystery DVD.

I logged in, saw that there were two surveys I could take and just upped my total with 20 points.

I just did the same. I had emailed them when I had received the original email, asking if my points were really going to expire. I had 2100 points, so was worried! I didn't hear back so last night I used most of my points because I didn't want to lose them. And then today the email saying that they really don't expire. Seriously? I let them know that I'm annoyed and irritated by this. Probably won't hear anything back, but annoyed nonetheless.

Me too. The email received several days ago had said the points would expire December 21, so I was not going to rush to use them on something I did not want. I was waiting to see if the first email was in error, and it was.

Just sent Disney Movie rewards an email stating I had tried to renew when their email came , but there were technical difficulties. So now I am waiting to find out how to re-activate my points. So NOT FAIR.
