I hope I put this on the right forum. I just got a Samsung Galaxy 2 tablet and I went to download the app. It saysays it's not available for my device. Is anyone else having problems with your tablet to not being able to download this?

I have an Asus tablet and it won't work on it either. Did work in HTC cell phone, but so far like UT better

Sent from my Transformer TF101 using DISBoards

I just downloaded it it my iPad and virgin phone. It works great on both. It works much better than the website. I wish I would have known about the app before I made my dining reservations on the website :badpc:

Very hit and miss on my iPad & iPhone. Not real impressed so far. Seems to be getting better with each update, hopefully with a few more updates between now and my June trip it will be perfect!

My mom has it on her ipad too. I just got this tablet, and im sad I wont be able to utilize it for my May trip.

Strange! I have it for iPad. After I book dining reservations, nothing shows up. And I can't link to family and friends. But the maps are great.

It was originally programmed to not allow Android Tablets because of the lack of GPS.

Of course, mine has GPS, and it still doesn't work. Probably a bug. You can probably 'send a message to the developer' indicating that your tablet does have GPS, so why can you not install it?

Not the same problem, but I have a windows phone. No download for that.

FWIW, my daughter just "sideloaded" MDE on her Android-based Nook tablet, and it worked perfectly first time through.

What does sideload mean?

That means downloading the apk file to your pc & connecting your device to your pc to move the apk from the pc to the mobile device.

Does anyone know where I can find the apk file for my disney experience? I can't get it for my galazy tab 2 from google play. I will need to sideload the file but can't find the apk file.

I also have a windows phone, I wish that and a few other apps were available for it. My husband always refers to my phone as " your crappy windows phone" because he will look for something to download for me and can't get it on it. I still love my phone, though!! :)

Huge bump here but I've just been trying to install the Official App on my 10" table and can't believe it's not compatible. :furious:
Is there a recommended alternative? I do have it on my phone (S3) but don't know if the apk file would still be there.
Nexus 7 says it's incompatible too..
