My disney experience app not recognizing account?

Is anyone else having an issue with their my disney experience app on their phone?

I went to use it the other day just to check on a dining reservation availability and it asked me to sign in. I tried and it said my name/password combo wasn't right. I know what my password is but I was like eh, lets just change it. So then the app says my email doesn't have an account. So I was like well hrm, and I tried to create one just for poops and giggles, and it says my email has an account. So now, I am stuck in a tangled web of a circle of account vs no account. I tried to call the number, hold time was LONG.
 
I had to sign in also. I think that usually happens when they update the app on the phone.

Had no problems signing in, though and I see the my dining reservations for October and my ticket.

I'm not sure where you tried to call, but you might want to go straight to the IT department. Robo has a post in this thread with the numbers:

You can sign in on the website?
Have you tried closing out the app totally and restarting it?
 
I had to call and get mine straightened out a couple months back, I had same issue
 

I had a similar problem last week and did the long hold on the phone. Min would not recognize or accept the reservation or confirmation number, so the support CM asked me to delete and reinstall the app on my phone. I did that, and it worked perfectly. The dining plans, hotel, FP+ were all there. Might want to give that a try.
 
The new app will need IOS 8 to operate. If you have a old I phone 4 it will no longer work. Guess how I know that?
 
I was having issues with mine this weekend, I had to delete the app and redownload twice in order for it to show my reservations. and it finally worked.
 
Similar issue here. One password if I logged in using my laptop, a different password (same email address) if using my phone. One log in had new/current reservation, the app on my phone only had old stuff. Tried resetting passwords too, but I only confused things more. After reading about others having issues and long wait times for IT, I just gave up on the MDE for the phone.
 
Update -

I called and held for about 10 minutes...thank god for speaker phone! lol. Anyways...tech was great. She said because I have a few Disney accounts with the same email (as in the app, the web page, other pages where disney is the parent company) that it was confused so to speak. Within 30 seconds she had it all sorted out for me and I can use the app again.
 
I have a Samsung S4 Mini. I hadn't been on the MDE App since last week and didn't realize there was an update earlier this week. I tried to look at my account on the App today and it kept asking me to log in but then would just go back to the login screen. I uninstalled the App and then when I went to re-install it I got a message that the App was not compatible with my device. Well, darn. Oh well, at least DH & DD have newer iPhones and the App works for them.

This happens to me about twice a month. I constantly have to call in to get my account fixed and they always say it is because "I have multiple accounts." It is super frustrating.
