My Disney Experience App - buggy and spotty

Holy cow. Started my post-vacation Disney survey, answered several questions, then was told "Thank you for your willingness to participate, but for this survey we are looking for individuals who match a different profile.
We hope you'll choose to participate in future surveys."

What is up with that??????????
 
You have thousands on the app over the same wifi..it's been spotty for years. Sometimes it won't reload wait times or show your new FP times.

The wifi is fine, it's just so many users over the same network bogging down the app. Usually everything else over the wifi works fine for me. And usually the app is fine, it's just sometimes it feels laggy.

However changing your FP's and then still seeing your previous times is common and it's been there from time to time for years now. Just remember that if you change your FP's, their changed and your new FP slot will remain there

Does this mean that one is likely to have better luck with the app on one's cell provider 4G network? (at least for the speed/lag, maybe not the display glitches?)

Means you didn't meet the demographics for the particular survey they sent. Not everyone fits all surveys

No, because your cell provider has nothing to do with the WiFi at the park. If you are using WiFi you aren't using your cell service, and vice/versa.

Matter of fact, I normally just turn off the wifi totally, and just use my data. Much more reliable.
 

Thanks. I am surprised Disney accepts this as "common" for many years. They are usually so customer-oriented.

But not with their websites. When it was just a website with a My Account section (which to me is the same as the MDE nonsense) it was awful. Now it's awful. It's not their strong point or focus.

Because surveys are surveys, they aren't questionnaires for everyone. Surveys aren't feedback on everything. Once you get into a survey you'll see how they lead you to answer the way they want you to answer, so they have data supporting what they want to do.

Send an email with feedback instead.

Why does everyone try to use the WiFi? Doesn't everyone NOW have unlimited data plans?

That's what I always wonder, but no, I don't think everyone does.
