So, I was thinking about Disney the other day as I was leaving my shopping cart in the middle of the parking lot....I guess I didn't really need the cart, I only had 57 items and I looked kinda funny as I checked out in the 8 items or less line, but the other lines were really LONG and I was in a hurry.

Anyway, I was thinking about Disney the other day. I usually like to feed my kids healthy foods like chips and fruit snacks, but I was wondering if I could just put the free peanut butter and jelly from the fixin's bar into my refillable mug for lunches to save money for my upcoming trip...I've had the mugs for years and they've served me well, so I'm a little worried about the peanut butter and jelly leaving an aftertaste when I get my coffee in the morning. Then again, I was going to stop at the pool at the Poly on my way back to Pop to swim, so maybe I'll just take the mug into the pool with me and wash it out.

Will that work???:)

Figured we had the bathroom fight, the overprotective parent fight and the SAHM vs WOTH mom fights going on so I'd go for the full Monty!:rolleyes1

Butterflies, pixie dust and Rainbows people!!! Butterflies, pixie dust and rainbows!

Of course it's all ok! I'm bringing my crockpot and setting up a grill in my room! Of course I'm picking up lettuce and onions from the fixin's bar! Not like my park admission doesn't cover free food!

Oh, absolutely! If you go to Cosmic Ray's you can make a nice onion, pepper and mushroom stew when you get back. I actually sprang for my crockpot with the money I saved telling my 13 year old to say she was 9 when we bought the tickets.

Well, the PB&J might mask the funny taste your coffee already has from cooking beans and wienies in the coffee pot in your room.

Now the better question is this... do the mugs fit in the cup holders on the double stroller you bought to push your 12 year old son into the ladies room?

Not that anyone knows he is 12 because you lied about his age to get him a child's ticket. ;)

You forgot about the unicorns ;)

You mean this one?

I don't buy strollers! I just pick up one of the free ones they leave outside of the rides for you!

:rotfl: This is all so funny!!! Except that pool hopping thing - is that not allowed. :confused3

I've never thought about bringing a crockpot. I just cook dinner on the iron that's provided in the room. Nothing like a warm grilled cheese straight off the iron.

He's not really 12, he's just tall for his age.

Actually, he's not that tall, those are the lifts I put into his shoes so that he was tall enough to ride Splash Mountain.

We are going to save a bundle paying the child's fare for our 12 year old on our next Disney trip. I'll tell them he's just tall for his age! Oh, and then I'll pay OOP for his meals and use his dining credits for DH and I to have more meals on our dining plan.

That AAA parking pass that another Dis'er gave me will come in real handy for parking. I'm so glad I asked around here if anyone would give me their black diamond pass! :thumbsup2 Now if I could only find someone to give me their gymbucks I could have my kids dressed top-notch for the trip. Oh wait! My kids are too old for Gymboree. I'll just sell the gymbucks on ebay. :goodvibes

You know, my 12 year old DS's feet hurt when he walks too much, poor thing! We decided to rent a stroller for him so that he doesn't have to walk around the parks and get so tired. He'll last longer that way and we'll have more time to enjoy the rides. You know all four of us ride single rider so that we don't ever have to wait in line. That saves time, too! :hourglass

I hope we come back with some good ride photos! To heck with paying the big bucks for those pictures the rides take. We just take our own pictures of the pictures on the screen and save a bundle! :woohoo:

And how about the free Coke in Epcot? We just bring our refillable mugs and load up on the good stuff, skipping the Beverly flavor, of course! :snooty:

I think we might even bring some of our own food in for lunch! I got a great deal on cans of corn at the grocery store this week -- 4 cans for $1.00! I think we're all set! Can't wait to get to the happiest place on earth and not go broke doing it! :cheer2:

You've forgotten to incorporate the danger of washing your peanut butter mug out in the pool where people could have an allergy to plastics or jelly.

OR would it be sacrilege to wipe out your now clean mug with a dissected towel animal?

AND don't forget to tip your mousecleaners or lock the doors on them.:goodvibes

... and for the love of all things holy, make sure your son is in a rear-facing car seat on the plane.

.... but I guess the whole thread is pointless since you cancelled your trip after you realized you had scheduled it during gay days. :rotfl2:

Who's canceling anything, I'm planning on getting a Grand Floridian UPGRADE for that! And a full refund!

Did you know that if you spit off of Dumbo and land a loogie on a bald guy, that you get a free fast pass to ride Dumbo again right away? It's their way of keeping up with the spitting camels on the Magic Carpet ride.

Can I just say that I love you all!!!!!!. Just got up off the floor, tears rolling down my face and everything...THANK YOU!!!:rotfl:

I checked my hot dogs as luggage on the plane, then I don't have to bother with peanut butter packets.
