My daughter FINALLY met David Archuleta!

Anyone who participated in the Idol thread during the David Archuleta/David Cook season would probably remember my daughter, TiggWDW, and her outspoken support for Archie. It has been her dream to meet him ever since then and last night it finally happened!

I'm so glad she finally got to meet him! Where did it take place? He looks like he's eating.

There was a charity event at a fancy hotel downtown yesterday. We weren't invited to the event but someone who was who knows how much Laura wanted to meet David told us he was going to stop by (he wasn't attending the event either as evidenced by how he was dressed and he only stayed a short while). Anyway, this person arranged for us to go back in the VIP area where people were just walking around having hors d'oeuvres before going into the dinner. Laura got her picture and was able to talk to him for a few minutes. Made her dream come true!
