My CVS Bargains 10-4-05

Our CVS had a huge sign when you walked in that said school supplies in one aisle only were 75% off, so I took a look
I got:
8 packs of ball point pens for 25 cents ( I am using these for the Operation Christmas Child Shoe Boxes for Franklin Grahams Ministry
2 Pack of Sponge Bob Pens 25 cents (stocking stuffer for ds)
Pen with Poker Game on it - $1.99 (Stocking stuffer for other ds)
Fruit Loops Cereal Bars 6 pack - 80 cents

I think I will hit the other 2 cvs in my area and take a look at what they have.

I am hitting CVS for their regular sale this week so I will have to check out the three stores that I work/live by.

CVS bargains this week for me:

puffs tissues, 108 ct for .88
Dove cleansing cloths, 4.99 with $1 coupon = 3.99
windex wipes 1.99, $1 coupon = .99
4 softsoap body wash 1.99 4 $2 coupons = FREE!

Total 12.35 in coupons!

I have to go to my other CVS and see what their clearance items are for school supplies, the one I went to this morning didn't have anything.


ETA: no school supplies at either of my 3 CVs stores.

I got a bunch of stuff at wal mart yesterday marked down., all the binders were 1.00 !!!!!!!!!!

I was at our CVS yesterday and School Supplies were 90% OFF!!! Of course I was about 10 minutes too late b/c the lady in front of me had her whole basket FULL of EVERYTHING they had left.... bummer for us... They did have lots of fruit punch/lemonade for .15 left, but I don't let me kiddos have it so it didn't do me any good - would be great for school parties if any of you need it for that....

I got the following:

2 Tide 100oz @ 5.44
3 Charmin Regular 24 pack @ 5.44
1 Herbel Essence conditioner (with bonus shampoo) 2.97

Total before tax = 30.17.

Will get $10 ECB.

Total after tax and $10 ECB is $22.37. I figured this was a good price for all the Tide and TP I got. Wish I had the P&G bandsaver coupons but we're still not getting coupons in the New Orleans area yet.

I also got 2 3 packs of Orbit. They were 2/2.99. My 2 coupons were for BOGO a single pack or $1 off a 3 pack. I expected to pay 0.99 but the cashier took off $1.50 then $1.49 so free gum! And I got some CRT coupons. One for $1 off Dove hand and body lotion, $3 off and allergy product $10 or more, and $1.50 off vitamins $5 or more.

I went to CVS this week and found a bunch of make-up, nail polish, etc. marked down to $.18-$.56!!! Wow!! That was an exciting find!!
