Yesterday she was dieing. She has this horrible cold, she feels terrible, doesn't know how she's going to make it home. I felt bad for her.
I come in this morning and I'm kinda surprised to see her at her desk. Ask how she's feeling. She's fine, no sneezing, no coughing, nothing!! Not even a little sniff. Wish I got over a cold so quickly.
I asked her what she took last night to help her so much and she tells me she drank some tea.
I wonder if she drank Chinese tea??? Since all diseases come from China maybe their tea can cure them???
She wouldn't be the first person who has ever tried to garner sympathy by having a little sniffle and acting like she will not make it until 5:00pm. Some people are real pros at it.
To be fair to Miss Info, my housemate and I once had a cold like that a few days apart. We couldn't move. Everything ached. Eyes, nose running, sore throat, fever, headache, felt like DEATH.

Her granddaughter is sick again. She tells her dil not to give the baby any milk, because she has a fever. Why, you may ask... because the fever will curdle the milk in her stomach and make the child sicker.

I once got the SAME reason from an ER nurse! She said not to nurse Fiona because the breastmilk would curdle and make her throw up more... Had nothing to do with her ear infection, I guess.

This must be an old wives' tale. My grandmother used to tell us not to drink milk when we were running a fever for the same reason. (She also told us we would die if we ate fish and drank orange juice in the same meal , so I don't really consider her an authority on food/sickness combinations).
