Magic...again! 6/8-6/13

Back on the ship I gave DS3 a bath and took him to his nap appointment. Then met DH and DD5 up on the pool deck. She was playing with her friend, same place same time just as they had agreed the day before. DH and I sat at one of the tables and just talked and looked at the beautiful water. We even saw a sea turtle which I was very excited about

At some point, I wanted to go try the aqua dunk. I had been going back and forth whether I wanted to try it. I very much like water slides but I don't like thrill rides. For those who don't know this is a water slide where you stand in a tube, the door closes you into the tube, the floor disappears and then you fall. So I walk up all the stairs to get to the top and there's 3 young teenage boys up top plus the CM who is in charge of running the slide. One of the boys looks at me and asks if its my first time. I told him it was and I was scared. So then the 3 boys tell me how it's awesome and how theyve been going on it over and over the whole cruise. So I get into the tube and then I immediately think about the floor disappearing and get out. The CM says it's only really scary for like 3 seconds and then it's a normal slide. And the boys tell me it's like an awesome roller coaster and I need to try it. I tell them I don't like roller coasters. And then I leave. DH thought it was funny. Apparently he watched me get into the tube and then get out.

But we enjoy the rest of our pool deck time and then it's time for us all to get ready for the show and dinner. But first stitch.





I think the show was Rapunzel. We all liked it but the kids got a little bored at times. After the show we ran into DD5's friend outside the show and we chat for awhile with her parents and then we all go watch a family game show.

DD5 started to feel pretty nauseous. The ship was rocking a lot. I convince her to take some family pictures though before we go back to the room.

And then we head back to the room and order room service for dinner. DH went to lumieres to ask our waiter if he could take the dessert to go tonight. And he brought back one of every dessert, except the souffle. I've been on the magic twice now and still have not eaten in lumieres. Something just always happen.

The kids fall asleep fast and we enjoy our chill night in. The next day is the last full day

I hope I do the Aqua dunk. I'm planning on it but I'm concerned about the floor disappearing.

Day at sea (and last day)

DD5 and I went to breakfast in cabanas while the boys were still sleeping. We rushed a little because they were doing an early morning showing of the new Lilo and stitch movie in the movie theater. We also went in our PJs...which I think feels fun...like the ship is our home.

The random character meets are the best.

This was my first time in the movie theater and I really liked it. It felt like a real movie theater and they even showed a preview (of the new zootopia movie which I am looking forward to). We both really liked the movie. It was cool to get to see a movie on the ship that just came out in theaters at home

Then DD5 wanted to put the rest of the duck magnets we had brought on cabin doors. I ordered a bunch of duck vinyl stickers and made them into magnets. She put them on the cabin doors that had decorations she liked.

And then pool deck time. The boys were already up there eating breakfast in front of the funnel vision. DD5 did the yellow slide a lot and the big pool and the little pool and I'm sure we all ate ice cream.

Eventually it was time for me to give DS3 his bath. DD5 stayed up on the pool deck with DH. They must have ate lunch up there too.

Then DS3 and I went to Rapunzel's for a sit down lunch. I had a really really good steak. Like one of the best of the cruise. DS3 had fries and Mac n cheese. It was really cute. The waiter made a Mickey mouse out of ketchup for DS3 but then he wouldn't eat any ketchup because he didn't want to hurt Mickey mouse.

Then I took DS3 to his nap appointment and met up with DD5 and DH. They were done showering by now.

We had a little bit of time to kill so I went to the DVC desk and got my free stuff. I got chapstick, things to keep magic bands on better and my favorite....a waterproof baseball hat! I had been wanting to buy one because my face burns so easy and I had bought a waterproof visor for the cruise but it had been hurting my head so anyway I was pretty happy about the hat.

And then we met Donald duck





But then it was time to head up to BBB! This is what DD5 was looking forward to most

She already had decided on belle. Previously she has been Elsa and Jasmine. Her favorite is Moana but that wasn't an option....but I told her ahead of time it wasn't an option.

She also knew what hair she was going to pick. She had been looking at other princesses during the cruise to see the different hair options.











Her fairy godmother talked to her the whole time. Asking her about her life and talking about different princesses. DD5 was into the whole process. She likes to do her own makeup at home and picks out hair accessories and hair extensions to match her outfits at home.





Oh and she got this really cute sparkly Minnie mouse backpack instead of the pull string bag.

Then I took some pictures of DD5 since she had all her princess glitz on. She did not want to but agreed.









And then we did some crafts in soul cat lounge where DS3 joined us after his nap/getting his evening clothes on. It was actually pretty cool. The kids colored an anchor and then they turned it into a magnet for the stateroom door.



And then we went up to the pool deck to get some food in DD5 and DS3 before the show (because our plan was to drop them off at the kids club and have dinner without them).



The show was the variety show. We all liked it but our favorite was still the Cinderella retelling.

Then we took them to the kids club and tried to finish all the packing before dinner. We did not finish but DH didn't want to be late for dinner. But then when we got there we were both nervous about not finishing packing in time since we had to put the bags in the hallway so I went back and finished and then went back to dinner. Our last dinner was AP which is my favorite. I don't remember what we ate BUT the waiter did bring the souffle from lumieres that I had missed the night before AND that really lives up to the hype for me. So so so good.

After dinner the kids wanted to stay in the kids club so I finished making the photo book and looked in the gift shop and then we walked around on the top deck

We checked on the kids again and they still wanted to be in the kids club so DH watched star wars on the funnel vision and I walked around deck 4. I was feeling really sad the cruise was over. It went too fast for me and I knew it'd be a long time before we'd be on another one.

We checked on the kids again and they were ready to go to bed. It was after 11pm at this point. They were partying hard.

Debarkation Day

I woke up early and got coffee and sat at the pool deck and just tried to soak it all in. It's sad to leave. The wish was docked next to us so that was pretty cool to see. She's so much bigger. I do want to try the other ships.

Then I went back to the room and we got ready for breakfast. It was nice to have the late breakfast. We were all pretty tired since we had all stayed up late. The kids weren't too sad since we were going back to WDW for a water park day and then a MK day.

Eventually we finished eating and all used the bathroom and they were announcing it was time to leave on the intercom as we were leaving.
