I haven't had a burger in the last 10 years at WDW. I am now thinking it is time to let go of my self imposed burger ban. Where would you suggest I go to eat one and why? Thank you in advance.

I don't think WDW is where I would choose to end my 10 year burger ban. Most of their burgers are average at best.

I would head for Five Guys or Red Robin.

Yak and Yeti has an awesome Kobe beef burger ...or you could try Big River over at the Boardwalk or the GF Cafe for pretty good options. If you're looking for a basic old fashioned burger try Beaches and Cream or Pecos Bill's.

Agreed, but if you are out west... try In N Out Burger!

If you are talking about a burger at WDW, stay away from the ones you get at any CS restaurant in the parks. I don't care how good the fixings bar is that some people will likely comment about - you have to start with a good burger.

We've found good burgers at several sit-down restaurants. Our current favorite is at the Dolphin Fountain in the Dolphin hotel. You can easily get there from either Epcot or the Studios. Forgot to add, that they easily surpass what you now get at Beaches & Cream (our old favorite).

IMO, Beaches & Cream has the best burgers in WDW. :thumbsup2

I totally agree!

The Grand Floridian Burger at the Grand Floridian Café is the best way to go. Angus Chuck burger, lobster, asparagus and horseradish chive hollandaise served with tomato salad - $17.99. Messy and expensive, but worth both inconveniences.

We thought the best burgers were served at lunch at Le Cellier.

The ones at the Plaza are good because they are a bit cheaper, and they have several toppings that are included, if you want, such as cheese, bacon, etc.

my wife had what she called the best burger she has ever had on disney property at chef de france so i would say there are places that you could get a decent burger good luck and hope this helps:cool1:

Just a quick question... is yours just a burger ban, or did you swear off beef altogether for the last 10 years? Our veggie DD was off all meat (ie: anything with eyes!) for 14 years. She now eats seafood and fish, but had to re-introduce gradually because her system wasn't used to it. Now, about your burger, I'd have to say Sci Fi with a big choco milkshake!

Nobody mentioned the Plaza in the Magic Kingdom!:thumbsup2

I totally agree with the Plaza burger. Very yummy and you get to eat it in a cute TS location that has AC and great ice cream for dessert!

LeCellier burger was fabulous, too. Nice and charry around the edges and served on a funky bun (is that an English Muffin?) I love both of these burgers.

However, we just got back from our down-n-back on Saturday and got a burger at Liberty Inn in Epcot that blew me away! It was a burger with ham, smoked Gouda and bacon with a spicy brown mustard. It was TO DIE FOR! And so huge that neither me or DH could finish more than half (and we took off the lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions!) Oh, and it was under ten bucks for the burger AND fries.

I'm jonesing for another one of those, but until then, I will be planning a Bacon Goudaburger night on teh menu soon!
