My "budget find" for the week

I'm really excited about this...so I just need to share. I am going to be hositng a pasta dinner for a girl's high school cross country team in a couple of weeks. About 50 girls, give or take.

I volunteered at a day camp last week, and at the end of the week - the volunteers that are aound helping to clean camp ( a HUGE project) get to share the leftover food that is not able to be donated to food pantries. There were 2 bags of frozen italian meatballs leftover, as well as a ton of mozzerella cheese.

This dinner is still going to cost a ton - but I feel like I saved myself about $30 with my haul!!!

I love receiving unexpected fortune like that! In the right place at the right time. Hosting 50 cross country girls is very generous of you! I know those girls can eat as much as the boys do sometimes! We just had our cross country parent dinner and I know it had to add up to be a lot.
