My primary doc wants me to get the 2nd opinion...since there were some cancer cells...o well...at least it will give me peace of mind!

I am happy to hear that you got good news, however, I would have the 2nd opinion.

I just had a mole removed from the back of my leg and found out that I have melanoma, which is very aggressive. On Thursday, I am having surgery which consists of a wide excision around the previous mole (an inch in each direction) and the removal of a lymph node to biopsy to make sure that it hasn't spread. The cancer was found in all layers of my skin. My surgeon is also removing a spot from the other leg that she doesn't like the looks of. I know that I will be okay, but it is very scary.
