MY BE Kabuki Brush Made My Face Bleed!

I have not, but she has used them on me, and they are fantastic! She says that this is such a great deal for these brushes.

try a dab of conditioner on your brushes. I wash my brushes with shampoo and then a dab of conditioner. Super soft.

Right now I am really liking the BE Heavenly Face Brush. I got it in a kit. the brisles are shorter & it is flat across not rounded.

I'm not crazy about the Flawless Face brush... I think it stings a little. I can't imagine how my face would react to the Kabuki...
I think the Bare Minerals also stings a little if I start to sweat outside. I might change to one of the other brands

Are there any other ways to clean a foundation brush? I have a nice one from Clinique, and they do sell brush cleaning formula, but I refuse to pay for it! Now my brush it getting, well, gunky.

I use a clarifying shampoo on my kabuki brush. It is the same shampoo that I use once a week on my hair (to get all the product out). I would assume that any shampoo would work fine. I've heard baby shampoo is good too.

Luckily Ive never had a problem with my kabuki brush.

I used BE for a couple months and felt the Kabuki was too rough for me too.

I stopped using BE after a friend of mine suddenly started getting plugged pores and broken capillaries. Her dermatologist said it was because of mineral makeup. When I went to the dermatologist for my annual check up last month the first thing she said to me was, "Please tell me you aren't using mineral make up." She said under the light she can see lots of new broken capillaries in my face that will need to be zapped with the lazer.

I use Lauren Hutton's Kabuki brush. I think the quality of BE brushes has steadily gone downhill.
