This show is absolutely TERRIFIC! Thanks for sharing your pics, Laura. :sunny:

I'm embarassed to admit this, but we've never made it to this show  . I know my daughter would love it so I guess it's yet another reason to get back to WDW!

We will be going to Disney for the first time in October 2003. I have been readin, reading and reading even more to gather as much info as I can before we go.

I have seen a website that says that this show only plays on Sundays. Can someone confirm this for me? We may be doing some changes to the schedule!!

I would appreciate any info you may have.

Thanks bunches

We missed this show last year so we are really going to try and make it this year. One question where are the wheelchair seats located? ARe they in the back of the theater? If they are can you still see well from there? I really want my DD to be able to see all the bright colors and the dancing and movement.
Thanks

That information is incorrect. The show is up seven days a week. It is in rehab right now but it is scheduled to be open by September 20th.

The wheelchair seating in Festical of the Lion King is in the front. Everyone enters the theater at ground level. There are several rows of bench seating at that level (portions of the ground level seating are reserved for people with disabilities and their parties and portions are general seating). The rest of the seating is stadium seating that you have to climb stairs to reach.
In many theaters, the wheelchair seating is in the back row. Some shows' like Pocohontas, Tarzan and the bird show (can't think of the name) at AK have a few wheelchair seats at the front, but the majority area at the rear. The disadvantage of being in the very front row is that the stages are elevated (except at Festival of the Lion King), so you spend the whole show craning your neck to look up at the show.
