I'll preface this by saying that I haven't actually read this guide, so I can't comment on it specifically... but....
In my opinion, things like this are rarely worth it. The internet has such a wealth of information these days and most of it is free. Reading the website for this guide gives me the feeling of seeing one of those over-the-top infomercials that promises something spectacular without even showing how the product works. For example, he says you can get a free ticket out of an airline agent by knowing the "magic words" to say for them. Really, if he actually sells enough of these guides, won't the airlines just respond by no longer allowing agents to give tickets for those "magic words?" He also claims to be able to exploit a "bug" in airline search engines to get a better price. Won't the airlines just fix the bug?
Frankly, I'd be annoyed to pay for something like this and get the same old tired advice that you read everywhere else (book on a Wednesday, fly on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, take advantage of connecting flights, travel a bit farther to a smaller airport, yada yada yada).
