We plan on going to the world for Christmas 2004. When does ticket info for the MVMCP come out? How much have tickets been in the past?

Last year's info:

I believe the tickets came out last year in late April. They are non-refundable, so only buy early if you are 100% sure of your dates. Last year only Friday nights sold out and that was not until November. I bought mine for a Tuesday night the day before at the resort. I wait until the last minute so I know we will get a good weather night (we could have also gone Thursday).

With Christmas being on a Saturday this year, would MVMCP go through the previous weekend? I noticed last year's schedule it ended on the 19th, a Friday night. I won't be there until the 19th, a Sunday this year, and had hoped to do MVMCP.

I've noticed that only a few weekend nights sell out for MVMCP in early December. How many tickets is that? What is the attendance like? Are the rides all walk ons, or are there lines like a regular day?

Also, are the parades as croweded as during a day time performance, or is it a little easier to find a viewing spot?

travellady, I'm with you! We are also arriving on the 19th and think MVMCP would be an awesome way to start our Christmas trip.

What I've heard is that the parks are more manageable than daytime but I suppose it depends if you go on a Tues vs a Friday. The only thing I can compare is that we also heard enights were great and rides were walk-ons but when we went in June that was not at all the case. We waited in several lines and found crowds everywhere. Who knows? I don't think I've ever been to MK without crowds! Maybe it's just the layout of the park that makes it seem crowded. Can't say for sure but I think I read that there are a max of 20,000 tickets sold on any MVMCP night.

We're another family hoping that there will be a MVMCP on Dec. 19th! We've been to the party 2 years in a row now, and it's loads of fun. We were there on the 19th, a sold out out night, but things were still doable. If we go this year, we'll definitely take the time to sit and watch more shows. We had good parade viewing places in Frontierland without having to hold a place for a long time.

Add another family hoping for a MVMCP on the 19th. I'm doubtful that there will be one -- It will probably end on Friday night.

I think they will have too many people there to be closing down the park early.

We did a Friday and a Sunday night last year and much prefered the Sunday night. I'm not sure I would fight the crowds but I would definately try for two nights this coming December.

There is so much to do and so many wonderful shows and parades it would be hard to make them all in one night.:D
