OK - I realize it is a good 9 months away, but does anyone know how soon the dates for Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party are released? It is the last piece of my December trip planning.

If I remember correctly, the dates came out about August of last year.

Thanks Brian - I'll update that in my calendar and check again in August.:D

I did a search that took me back only as far as May 29, 2002; MVMCP tickets were already on sale then.

This was asked on another thread a day or two ago. Someone posted that they went on sale last year towards the end of April. So, I would be keeping an eye on these boards for some info within the next month.

This is what were waiting for too!:D

The went on sale the end of April last year.
I bought mine May 2nd....and had so much fun!!

What site would you go to purchase them?

Thanks for all the advice. I'll check back regularly now. We went about 5 years ago and I was certain you couldn't buy them until around the September timeframe. I guess since demand is so high, they put them out earlier.

We've gone the past 5 years and they do not usually release them until the summer or fall, but last year they did release them in April. Last year was the first time they offered a dinner package at LTT with the tickets. Last year only Friday nights sold out. We got tickets for a Tuesday night the same day,it wasn't crowded at all. The weather was really bad on some nights last December, so I waited until the day of the party to make sure we didn't get rained out.

Here's a tip - the last 2 years they allowed you to enter after 4:00pm with your MVMCP ticket and get your wristband. The regular closing was 6:00, so we got 2 hours of riding in before the party even started. Between 6:00 & 7:00, the only section open was Tomorrowland for MVMCP guests only as they cleared the rest of the park for day guests.

Does this mean that you don't have to use a park day on your regular admission passes? Like I know that for Enites you have to use a day of your park admission to partake in Enite. Could I spend the day outside the park and enter for MVMCP just with the ticket I bought without using regular admission too?

You don't have to use a regular day on your pass. The last 2 years they allowed admission with the MVMCP ticket only, after 4:00pm. If you wanted in before that, you would have to use a day.
