We'd mostly be interested in Buzz, Peter Pan, Pooh, and Philharmagic. Are these rides open during MVMCP? If they are, how bad are the waits for them? Thanks!

:D We went on Sunday 12/14 last year and the wait times were however long it took you to walk into the ride. We rode SM 3 times in a row with out getting out!!!! We are going on Sunday 12/5 this year.

I hvae read on the Dis that Fridays and especially the Fridays closer to X-Mas get crowded. I guess alot of locals go on Friday.:D

We went last year during the middle of the week the first week in December. Basically all the rides were open and the lines were non-existent. In fact they were sending "empty" cars around Space Mountain.

Does anyone have personal experience with ride wait times at MVMCP on Fridays? We are contemplating going on Friday, Dec. 10 and we would definitely want to use the time to see some attractions. I know there are a limited number of tickets sold each night, I just wonder how crowded it is when it is "sold out" as I'm sure Fridays are.

We went Thursday, Dec 18th. It was sold out this night. We didn't have to wait in line for any rides at all. We rode SM and Space Mountain several times. We waited 10 minutes for our group picture. My advice is to try and go to the second parade. We rode rides during the first parade and went to the second parade. My niece and nephew slept through it but we loved it. Also when we were there on friday they showed the MVMCP parade during the afternoon instead of the snowglobe parade. Also don't forget to get hot chocolate and cookies. We went several times for hot chocolate and cookies. It was so good.

I agree with daisy, the best thing is to hit those rides early, before the first parade ends. One time we hit Pooh first thing and I think we may have been the only ones on the entire ride.

We too found that most rides were walk ons but we did not have "time" to ride many of them. We wanted to take in all the christmas shows and special events as well as the parade. We had done MK two other times that week and really just enjoyed walking around and soaking up the Christmas spirit.

As far as what attractions are open, almost all of the attractions are open, except for
Hall of Presidents
Tom Sawyer Island
Enchanted Tiki Room
Of course, the shows at the Diamond Horseshoe Saloon, Galaxy Palace Theater, and Castle Forecourt Stage are different, holiday versions.
