MVMCP ?'s

I have read thru almost the entire MVMCP thread...oy. Anyway is it my imagination or does it not seem the most busy nights at least according to the people going from the DIS will be the AP discount nights? Is this just skewed because so many of you have AP's here?
We are to visit WDW from 12/10 to 12/19 and I am having the hardest time picking a night. DD wants to go our last night which would be 12/18 but I am afraid it would just be too busy (we will have a 4yo and 9 yo). Anyway any expert or not expert opinions out there?

I think people from the DIS are smart enough to know to go on the slower nights. I think the locals go more for Friday nights.

I can't remember what crowds are supposed to be like on a Sunday (which would be 12/18) but IMHO, I think it'd be better to go earlier in your stay. The closer it gets to the end of the parties the more crowded they get, basically the closer to Christmas, the busier WDW gets, there might be alot of people coming in the weekend before Christmas and 12/18 is the second to last night for the MVMCP (the last MVMCP is 12/20) and that will make it even more crowded. If it were me, I'd go with Tuesday the 13th, it's no guarantee, but Tuesday nights are traditionally slower for MVMCP.

Been to MVMCP many times most years we go twice.It has been our experience Sundays as long as it is not the last MVMCP is best day to go to MVMCP.Tuesday and Thursday are good days also again as long as not last MVMCP.Fridays and last night they have a MVMCP are the most crowded.We have been at MVMCP on a Friday and last night they have had a MVMCP and had a good time but it was crowded.This year we are going to MVMCP on 6th and 8th.

I am right in that this is the First Year they have offered AP Discounts on MVMCP nights correct?
SO not only are AP holders from the DIS and all over the country eligable for the discount but so are Florida Season Pass Holders eligable?

We're going on Tues Dec.6th and friends are going Thurs Dec 8th. Are either of these AP discount nights???

I believe Nov 27, Dec 4, Dec 13 are AP Discount nights.

What about the 16th crowds. Unfortunately, that is the only day we could go. I just want to prepare myself mentally.

I was wrong the AP Dates are 11/29, 12/1, 12/4, 12/13 at least according to allearsnet.com
Tink...if you can only go on Friday well then plan for it being a little busy and know what you are going to do before you go. You will still have a great time.

We have decided to go on the 11th with Gabby's family and on the 15th, just for us. In my experience, the Sunday that corresponded to the 11th back in 2003 was an awesome night for MVMCP. The Friday that corresponded to the 16th was the last night they offered it, it was sold out, and it was packed to the point that I swore never again on a sold out Friday night. Maggie
