MVMCP questions

I'm curious when these parties usually start, is it the end of Nov? Beginning of Dec? What exactly takes place at this event? I know at MNSSHP you get to trick-or-treat but what is there to do at the Christmas one?

The parties are usually in the month of December. It snows on Main Street, very cool parade. Free photo w/Santa, free hot chocolate and there are various Christmas themed shows that you can attend in addition to the rides. It's alot of fun. I plan on doing it again some time!

This is quite fun - I have gone the past 2 yrs. There is a special fireworks show for it as well. I do like the MNSSHP better, however.

At www.allearsnet.com you'll be able to see last year's dates for the party and you can usually use those to gauge what this year's dates will be. You'll also see a rundown of the events.

We did MNSSHP in 2004 and MVMCP in 2005 (this past December). We love them both, but are returning this year in December, again, and will do MVMCP. Along with all the listed programs, there is live music everywhere, special character meet and greets, and just a wonderful holiday atmosphere. We go to bask in the experience, ride some rides (we found FrontierLand to be at "walk-on" status for all the rides while FantasyLand was a bit busier but still manageable and fun), see the special fireworks, and just enjoy a different park experience. If you are there during any MVMCP and buying the special tickets doesn't feel like an awful stretch to your budget, I'd say go for it and check it out yourself -- esp. if you love Christmas.

Free photo with Santa? I thought the photo with Santa went on your Photopass card and you could buy it if you wanted.

I thought the only free photo was the free souvenir photo they take at various locations with a festive background.
