MVMCP question

ok...i'm not exactly a newbie to the DIS...but i am a MVMCP newbie!! i just have a simple, harmless question...

i know that tickets are seperate for MVMCP. is a regular park admission required IN ADDITION to the MVMCP ticket? for example, if we don't want to go into any of the parks that day at all, will just the MVMCP get us into the MK once they open the gates for the event that evening?

i'm trying to see if we can budget a trip for the beginning of december and just not sure if it can happen or not...but i'm checking all the angles for this...

Yes, the MVMCP ticket is all you need to get into the park for the party. You will have to wait until they start accepting tickets. Not sure exactly when that is, but its typically before the 7pm start time.

MVMCP is GREAT and you will have an excellent time!

Someone posted on another thread that they confirmed that MVMCP ticketholders will be admitted after 4:00pm, as it was the past 2 or 3 years.

I had two children within 15 months in 1998 and 1999. I also had some serious health problems that I needed to overcome. We saved...and waited...until the boys were 3 and 2, and until I was physically able to handle it. My husband and I, our sons, and our two daughters, walking up Main Street for the first time together, realizing that my family is complete, happy, healthy, and together in my favorite place.

I just completely lost it...and other people who saw me started crying as well. They didn't have to know specifics....they simply understood.

You just HAVE to go to MVMCP. You Have to! It is so great. Try to go during the week though. You'll regret it if you don't do it. Believe me. Good Luck on the trip. Hope you make it.

You'll get a wristband if you arrive early. You only need your MVMCP pass.

I've been to MVMCP a few times. We arrived early (around 5 p.m.)for a PS at Tony's and got a wrist band in exchange for our MVMCP pass for entry into the park.

I think it's great not to do a park on your MVMCP night. This year we slept late, had a big breakfast at the Trails End buffet (best deal on site) and I went resort hopping and DS and DH swam. We all took a short nap in the afternoon. We went to the MK about 4:30, hit a few rides, had dinner at LTT around 6:00 and hit the party at 7:00. We lasted till 11:30. Late for us. It was a great fun night.
