MVMCP on a Friday????

I really need to know..... Just how crowded is MVMCP on Friday night? Specifically, are lines for attractions very long? Will it be hard to get a spot to see the 2nd parade?

We need to choose between going to MVMCP on Friday (10th) or Thursday (9th). I know Thursday would be less crowded, but Friday is MUCH better for our schedule. However, if you guys tell me that Friday is way too crowded to do anything, we will switch.

I'm curious to see what answers you'll get to this one! I just ordered our MVMCP tickets this week for 12/10. It just worked better for our schedule too since my son's bd is 12/9 & he wanted to spend it in AK. When I was ordering I asked the person & he said they're all fairly comparable since they only sell so many tickets for each night. That made sense to me so I crossed my fingers and ordered!

I think most Fridays are sell-outs, the crowd does thin out after the fireworks.

Anyone been on a Friday to MVMCP? or... anyone been to both a weeknight and a weekend MVMCP who can describe the differences in crowd level.

At least once a year since 1992 most years we go twice.Have been to Friday MVMCP 3 times and crowd level is much more crowded on Fridays,all 3 we went to were sell outs.This year we are going on 7th Tuesday and 9th Thursday.It has been our experience that Sundays are the least crowded followed by Tuesdays and Thursdays.Crowds do tend to thin after parade and fireworks.The MVMCP with the live shows,christmas parade and special fireworks,free hot chocolate and cookies with snow on Main Street and you got a party.Whatever night you go you will have a great time.MY tip to you get your free family photo early when que's are short and everyone is spiffy and fresh.Get you a Santa Mickey hat and have a great time.
