Hi! I'm new to your forum and am anxious to get some feedback about MVMCP. This is our first trip to Disney World and our whole family is getting really excited! Anyway I'm trying to figure out if it is worth it for us to go to the party. I see that the park closes at 5 so what time does it reopen for the party and what time does it shut down if you attend the party? With such limited time (we are doing the land/sea package and then tacking on a couple extra days on the backend) and so much to see, I'm trying to make the most of the time.
Last year the park closed at 6:00pm. You could enter with your MVMCP ticket at 4:00pm and get your wristband. Last year after the 6:00 fireworks, all those without wristbands were directed to the exits. People with wristbands could go to Tomorrowland to ride. Then at 7:00pm everything reopened for the party. The party ends at midnight.
Thanks for the info. Is there anything special like specific holiday programs going on that would make the park a different experience on these nights? We live in Las Vegas and came from CA and have had annual passes to Disneyland in the past so initially our plans are to hit the other parks and only visit the things that are different from Disneyland. I don't know if it would be better to go to Disney World one evening or if it will take more time.
What about the other parks? Do you have a favorite and why? The animal kingdom really looks good. My kids are going to be 6 & 4 when we go.
