Last year the tree trail was up by Nov 5th even though the season did not officially kick off until the 12th. So this year I’m hoping for the trees to be up by Nov 4th!
https://plandisney.disney.go.com/qu...rks-sill-place-christmas-party-nights-462666/I don't think that it's dark enough to do fireworks at 6:00 PM for regular day guests. The MVMCPs had only one fireworks show in the past and it typically ran midway in the evening.
I just checked a weather site. You're right.... the sun sets around 5:30pm in December, but it's not dark enough until around 6:30pm.I don't think that it's dark enough to do fireworks at 6:00 PM for regular day guests. That's from last year when there was no MVMCP. There was an after-hours party instead. The MK closed at its regular time.
I missed the time in the post. Thanks! The time says 7PM - 1AM so I'm guessing the parks will close at 6PM.

Does this mean that there are TWO fireworks every night? Like one at 6:00 and another at 12:00?
We're staying at the Poly for 2 weeks in December. Will we hear fireworks every other night when we're sleeping?
No castle lights?
Disney Food Blog has a complete list of dates and prices. We have never been to a Halloween or Christmas party does anyone know or have any ideas what dates are usually the high end prices because I really don’t think I can do the 200 for a family of five but I might be able to get the money for the $150 rate….. 150 per person’s already gonna be a super big splurge for us
Yes. They are much more crowded. The cap on ticket sales is so high as to be meaningless. We went to Disney Very Merriest After Hours last year and really enjoyed it. I noticed the price range for last years after hours was more than this years prices for MVMCP which surprised me. Does that mean the parties are more crowded than the after hour events? That would be a bummer![]()
But the shops remain open until 1 a.m.Just to clarify, the party ends at 12 am, not 1.
In our experience, the party was often much more crowded than the daytime. It once took me 45 minutes to walk from main street to liberty square (usually a 2 minute walk) during a Christmas party because it was so congested and people were refusing to budge from their “viewing spots” in the middle of the designated walking path for the castle shows/parade/fireworks. I wish I was exaggerating. People that night were so angry, screaming at eachother and CMs. Not a lot of holiday spirit. We went to Disney Very Merriest After Hours last year and really enjoyed it.
