MVMCP-Dec 2010- Cape Cod & Fall photos-Update 11/16

A short May or June trip? It would be awesome if you could go the same time as we are. We will arrive on May 26th and leave on June 4th. Remember that free dining is being offered during that time frame! Am I trying too hard for a Dis Meet?

Yes way! We need to find a resort for our first night since free dining doesn't start until the 27th. We can't decide if we want to book a room at a value and save a little money, book a room at the CBR and hope they can keep us in the same room the next day or book another moderate to see if we would want to stay there next trip.

The only way we would cancel is if Lacey's wedding budget gets out of hand. Oh and we have a real estate loan that we have to refinance in May and we're hoping nothing goes wrong with that. But, I have confidence that neither of those things are going to happen.

I wanted to try to keep up this PTR for December. I ended up getting AKL for this trip. I was trying for WL, but couldn't get it. On another note: My friend, Greg, who is currently living in South Korea, will be home for a trip in Jan/Feb. I'm going to meet him for a couple of days in February, too. I booked a super cheap flight through Southwest. It should be fun. I am REALLY looking forward to December, though. I don't have much to update, but I wanted to share an "autumn" photo I took last week in the Town I work:

I decided to change my font color to green, since this is a Christmas TR. No news on December, but I am taking a mini-trip in February to see my friend who will be home from South Korea AND a June or August (I'm hoping for June) trip with my cousin & his GF and my late cousin's gf. I think that would be SO fun. I've decided next year is my vacation year!!! Until something goes wrong with my car.

Well, I started a weight loss blog. I'm documenting everything I eat & all of my exercise. I did this because there really are no good free weight loss programs & I though it may help someone. Either that or I will have NO readers! It will help to keep me motivated. I'm trying to get the courage to put up a "before" photo right now. I may not lose much before this December trip, but I am hoping to lose a bunch before my trip next year. After December, I am going to start a PTR for my teeny tiny February trip and- my week in June with my late cousin's gf, my other cousin & his gf. They are all younger than me & I have to get in shape to keep up.
As far as December- my stepmom will be joining us for dinner at California Grill- for her 50th birtday!!!!!!! I'm so excited! Have a great weekend, everyone!

YAY!!! I'm so happy we are almost there again. I'm almost in tears at work today. It is just awful.

Since I have no news to update about December yet, I thought I would post some of my "Fall" photos & photos from Cape Cod last weekend.

(A lot of these photos are from a farm/restaurant that we go to in Shelburne, MA- they make their own syrup)

That's it for now...I am losing hope that we will get switched to WL for the December trip- but I really can't complain about the AWESOME rate I got for AKL. I've been away a lot because work has been busy & my diet & the looming holidays are making me crabby. I have to admit, though, the diet is working so far. I'm starting my running again tonight & hopefully, together, they will do more for me.

I can't believe it, but I was able to secure a reservation for John, my stepmom, & I at the last minute for my stepmom's 50th birthday on Tuesday at California Grill!!!! I am SO happy. I was really worried about that. It looks like it is going to be COLD while we are in WDW next week. I have been having such a hard time here lately that I have decided that I am going to RELAX while on vacation next week. This is the end of my PTR. I'm still undecided on whether or not to do a TR for next week's trip. I'll let you know when I get back! Have a great weekend & following week.
