Boy oh boy am I behind . Going back to where I last left you with quick answers--Yes I do remember the Mickey's that were at Disney in 2003, I have all kinds of pictures of them. The Vinylmation remind me of those Mickeys. Congrats to your brother on his graduation and I'm glad he was OK after the car wreck . I know you felt sick about losing your phone; if I lost mine I wouldn't know anybody's phone number . I'm glad it wasn't anything serious with your car . HAPPY BIRTHDAY Isis . And I vote WL on your December stay. We are going to be at Disney that same week, but I'm not sure where we are staying yet.

So, I think I got it all in?.......... I have been a basket case with so much going on lately, I haven't been a very good Disser .

Thanks, Dana!!! I think I have to ask John for help with deciding the resort. This trip is "all about him" because he SO loves all things Christmas & I want it to be special for him.

and yay! for December trip. It's funny because I *think* I'm going back for December too. I usually go every December with my timeshare but this will be the second time at Disney in December. When i fall in love, I fall HARD.

The Boyfriend and I like to look at the Pook-A-Looz whenever we go to the Disney Store at our local mall! They're too freakin cute! Maybe we'll have to start collecting them... They'd be adorable in our new apartment...

I booked air! We are flying out on December 6th & back on December 10th. It is a short trip, but I am so excited to see John’s face when he sees all of the lights & “snow”. I rented a convertible, too! I discovered that renting through Southwest with my Rapid Rewards # saves a lot of money on rental cars. I already have Christmas party tickets. Now I have to wait at least 108 days to book the resort as a bounceback!!!! At least I am almost in the double digits in my October countdown.

I’ve got nothing exciting today- just a doctor’s appointment (routine check-up) & dinner at John’s friend’s house. Tomorrow is a 50th birthday party that should be a lot of fun. Sunday I will be planting my rhubarb. Next week will be busy & I have to take my car to the dealer for a recall issue. I’m nervous because the last time I brought my car there, they flushed my transmission fluid & didn’t put enough back into the car! I hate car dealerships. I just don’t trust them at all.

On my way home last night, I was behind a driver who was swerving all over the highway and into the breakdown lane. Late last night on one of the highways I drive every day, a state trooper pulled over a drunk driver. While he was at the driver’s side door of the first car, a second drunk driver hit, pinned, and killed him. Be careful on the roads this weekend. People are driving like maniacs lately. Sorry. That’s enough of my ranting today. I just get angry about car accidents because they are all so preventable.

Yeah, for booking your airfare. For me that's always the moment a trip feels "real".

I agree with you completely about the nuts on the road lately. I almost got hit the other day by a woman who had to make a left hand turn from the center lane, cutting off the two lanes of traffic making legal left hand turns. Seriously, would it have been that difficult to just go to the next light (which was only a few yards up the road) and make a legal u-turn there.

On booking your air and getting the car rental . It really won't be long because if you think about today's date we are already 169 days into 2010. How are you booking bounceback? I always thought you had to be at the resort at that time to book that? The flier in our room said we had to book it before we checked out.

I hate to hear that about the state trooper, that is horrible. The police here started going to the passenger side of the cars they stop. It makes me angry to see people driving reckless too .

I've never really gotten into Facebook and it took me forever to even join and when I did it was only because Lacey set it up for me. I don't even check it every day....maybe once a week.

Hmm... I'm pretty sure you can block people on Facebook. So if there were certain people you really enjoyed talking to and keeping up with on Facebook... you can just block the problematic people so they don't ruin all of Facebook for you!

Wow! People are just insane!! This week it seems to be the big trucks that are speeding excessively & weaving through traffic. I'm happy to just make it home in one piece!

I deleted my account. I was checking it every day. I was hooked!

What a month it has been so far! Work has been out-of-control busy all month. I miss posting on everyone’s threads. If you don’t see posts from me for a while, just know I AM still reading all of them.

Today I wanted to at least do an updated version of my itinerary for October.
Monday October 4, 2010- I’m flying Southwest & I sprung the $10 for early bird check-in. Hopefully I will get my first row window seat. I love it for the leg room. I arrive in Orlando around 10am. I’ll head to baggage claim, grab my bags, and head to get my rental car. I got a pretty good deal on a midsize through Southwest. I’m going to drive on over to Winn Dixie for snacks & then check-in at Yacht Club. I’m going to leave my things there or sit for a little bit (if I have time). At 2, I have a facial at Mandara Spa. I can’t wait! After the facial, I plan to relax until my early dinner at the Yachtsman Steakhouse (first time there!). The Magic Kingdom has PM EMH that night & I definitely want to attend as long as I can stay awake.

Tuesday October 5, 2010- I have a VERY early breakfast at Cape May Café. After that, I am driving over to Universal & IOA. I’m going to IOA first to get to Harry Potter! I’m REALLY looking forward to that. Usually I will get to the Hulk, Spiderman, Dr. Doom, Dudley Do-Right, Popeye, and Jurassic Park. I also want to take a longer look in the gift shops this trip. After spending a little time at IOA, I’m going to go to Universal for the Mummy, Men in Black, The Simpsons, and Hollywood Rip Ride Rock it. I have a dinner scheduled at the Wave. This will be a first for me. I will most likely be tired after dinner, so I will head to bed.

Wednesday October 6, 2010- This is my earliest day (besides my check-out day). I have a VERY early breakfast at Boma, then I plan to go to Animal Kingdom to take a bunch of photographs & find the animal trails Lisa always mentions. I WILL find them this time- I have a map! I’m sure I will try to get to Expedition Everest, Kilimanjaro Safari, Primeval Whirl, and Dinosaur. My egg roll stand had better be open, too. The veggie egg rolls are SO good. After an early start at AK, I might get to Stormalong Bay to swim for a while. I have dinner scheduled at Coral Reef (a first!), then plan to spend the PM EMH at EPCOT. I’m not sure if anything at WS or from F & W will be open, but I KNOW Soarin’ will be open. I’m definitely getting there.

Thursday October 7, 2010- Another early start for me at the Fresh Mediterranean Market. I won’t make rope drop at DHS, but I’ll be taking the boat over & getting an FP for TSM. I’m going to do the animation Tour, ToT, RnRc, and American Idol. I have an early dinner at California Grill & I am off to MNSSHP!!! I am determined to get on Space Mountain, TTA, Buzz Lightyear, Monsters Inc Laugh Floor, Haunted Mansion, Thunder Mountain, Pirates, and I want to see the parade.

Friday October 8, 2010- I have a late breakfast at Kouzzina followed by some free time. I might go horseback riding or go to the pool….maybe both! I want to take advantage of the PM EMH at Animal Kingdom just to ride EE at night. I have dinner at Jiko after the park closes. I may head to Downtown Disney to do some shopping after that.

Saturday October 9, 2010- The only reservation I have all day is for Dolphins in Depth at 9am. I plan to eat my way around WS in EPCOT. I want to spend the entire day there.

Sunday October 10, 2010- I have a very late breakfast at 1900 Park Fare. I plan to spend the day shopping and maybe go for a swim until the PM EMH for Magic Kingdom. I’m going to do as much there as I possibly can before I leave early the next morning.

I’ve already made changes to my December itinerary, too I will have to fill you in on those soon. Have a great weekend!

I just read something that said the wait earlier today was 7 hours! There's nothing good enough for me to stand and wait for 7 hours to see.

I can tell you that if the wait is over 90 minutes when I'm there, I will be waiting until next year to see that attraction!!!

Whew! Work hasn’t slowed down at all. One good thing- I am in the double digits!!!!! 89 days to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can I just say- I can’t wait!!!!
I still have 152 days until my December trip….then no Disney trips for the foreseeable future after that.

I’m still undecided on the resort. Here is the December itinerary so far:
Monday December 6, 2010- Arrive at 11am, check in & head to EPCOT. Dinner will be at Artist Point, then evening EMH at MK.

Tuesday December 7, 2010- Late breakfast at Kona Café, followed by pool time. DHS in the afternoon/evening. I want to be sure to see the Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights! We have a late dinner at California Grill.

Wednesday December 8, 2010- We have no meals scheduled. I figured we would go to Universal/IOA, then maybe go to evening EMH at AK. Maybe we will go to Downtown Disney afterwards.

Thursday December 8, 2010- We have a late breakfast at 1900 Park Fare. I’m planning to visit EPCOT during the day. We have MVMCP that night & dinner at Crystal Palace.

We depart fairly early on Friday morning. It will be a shorter trip, but I am looking forward to it. I was talking with my stepmom about October & I have made a few changes there. I have to write up another revised itinerary!
