There is no way I could ever do the Universal Studios Horror Nights I would b the one screaming and running around, I don't do scary scary very well!!!

Okay, if that's an incline I think I can handle it. I was afraid that was some kind of crazy drop or something. That other one sounds awful though. I can handle pretty much any kind of ride except those octopus type rides. Things that go up and down while moving in other directions make me turn green.

I don't think you have too many ADRs at all. Better to have them than not. You can always cancel them while your there if you don't want to go. That's why I made a few more breakfast ADRs this trip than I usually do. I don't mind a grab and go breakfast, but without a food court for something hot I didn't want to chance we might want that one day and then be stuck.

That was what I was thinking, too. I like my sit-down meals & you can't usually walk in & eat without an ADR.

My brother, Jeff, graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration this weekend. I’m so proud of him. Not much new is happening Disney-wise, but I’m planning to meet my friend from NYC at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods in a couple of weeks. We always have fun. I’m also trying to talk my brother & John into going to see some MMA fights on Friday. I have never seen them live, so that would be fun. Work has been a nightmare this week. My boss is quitting smoking & it has been like working with a lunatic! Plus, I can’t get away from it because we share an office.

I forgot- I bought an ice cream maker & made Dole Whip! It is ok- but I should have invested in a soft serve ice cream maker. It is a little “icier” than it is creamy. It is still good, though.

I'll fill you in on a few things while I have a minute: My phone got stolen at the casino Friday night. My drive home Saturday was bad because I think my transmission is shot. My brother got into a car accident Sunday morning that broke a telephone pole in half- he is lucky to be ok. Today was a madhouse at work & tomorrow I have a meeting in Cambridge. I am back to work Thursday, but I have a meeting at 10am and an appointment at 3pm. I promise I will be back soon with more updates!

Thanks! It has been a stressful week. Yesterday I had to get the 5:40am train to get to a meeting in Cambridge on time. I'm still tired today!!!
I'm glad to see you posting again. How are all of your animals??

Eeek! I hope everyone's okay.

Everyone is ok, thanks. It is a miracle that my brother wasn't hurt in his accident! His car was totaled. I am in a bit of a funk this week, but I'm going to try to get back on track this weekend. We'll see if I can.

NO WAY! I picked the 6th-10th because of crowd levels & after checking the events section of Wide World of Sports- no soccer groups that week!!!! I hope you get to go in December!

So I went to the MGM Grand at Foxwoods with my friend on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. We had a TON of fun until…my phone was stolen. I wasn’t freaking out about the cost or anything. I have a Palm Pixi, so I really freaked about the contact phone numbers, my e-mail, and the fact that I was logged in to Facebook. I also had photos on it and a customized “skin” with a photo of Isis. I just felt like it was an invasion of my privacy. It was tough to relax after that. We stayed over, though, and I called Lost & Found about 100 times. Some photos of the room/view:

I didn’t gamble much. We ate at a buffet that had EVERYTHING. Saturday when I left, my car was not running well at all. Come to find out- when the dealership had flushed out my transmission fluid, they didn’t add enough fluid when they were done! John bought & added fluid for me.
The next day, my brother fell asleep at the wheel & hit a telephone pole! Thank goodness he was ok. He did give us all a pretty good scare, though.
Other than that, I have been feeling a little down lately. I should be exercising, but I haven’t been doing that. My blood pressure has been so high that my doctor put me on a THIRD medication. Work has been very stressful. That’s about it. I will post soon about my December plans. I had no idea that I could book dining more than 180 days out if I had a reservation number. More on that soon.
