MVMCP? Best time to arrive??

I know you can start going in around 4pm, but is it better to come a little later after its all set up? Or, is there a really crowded time when everyone arrives to avoid? Also, after arrival what should we do first? Is there a time when it thins out a bit?? We are going on 12-20, which is sold out! So, I am trying to make a "plan" before we go! Would love any suggestions!

The earlier the better IMO. With it being sold out you can pretty much expect for it to get crowded most likely from the time it opens. Everyone will probably be thinking the same thing of going early to avoid the crowds entering the MVMCP. Good luck and have fun. I'll be there on 12/15/05 and will definetly be doing a comprehensive breakdown on everything i see during next weeks events.

I would say go at 4pm. We did the party on Nov.29th and we got there at about 3:55. There were already people in line, but we got in very quickly. Got on the railroad and took it to Toontown. Rode tons of rides in Toontown and Fantasyland without waits. Walked on. I think a lot of people dont know that you can get in early. I wouldnt have known that if I didnt read these boards. Have fun, we had a blast!!

Arrive at 4:00. First, do those things that won't be open during the night (Jungle Cruise, Cinderellabration, CoP, etc.) Things really start to thin out after 11:00.

I would also recommend getting there as early as possible because the line to get in is CRAZY around 7:00. We always get our picture taken first when the lines are short. If you wait too much after 7:00 to get in line for your picture, you will end up wasting a lot of time in line!
