MVMCP 12/4 or 12/5?

We will be arriving the evening of Dec 3rd. My original plan was to spend all day in the park on the 4th and the morning of the 5th, and do MVMCP on the evening of the 5th (Friday) - we have two small children, so thought we would need a nap in the afternoon before.

But we could reverse it and do the party on the 4th.

I'm buying tickets today. Those who have been before - which day is more likely to be less crowded for the party, Thursday or Friday?

Never mind - I decided on Thursday after reading some other posts, and we've bought the tickets now.

But I do have a question about the party. What time do they do the snow on Main Street?
