What's yours??

We all know that there are special items that are usually only had on a cruise. My previous cruise experiences have been mostly on NCL....and I know that I MUST have pretzel rolls, then I know I'm really really on vacation. The pretzel rolls make me happy, and the only place I've ever had them is on the ships.

So, with that being said.... My first DCL trip is in a little less than 11 months, and on the Wonder, to cross the panama canal. So help me out here...

What is the one thing you ALWAYS have to have when you are on a Disney Ship...besides the obvious Mickey Bar ice cream.. lol.. I don't do ice cream on a stick, even if it is in the iconic ear shape.

TIA for your suggestions, and if you have pictures of your fav's you want to share, even better.

There's nothing I have to have.

Only thing I can think of that I'd like to have is the almond croissant at Palo brunch.

The grand marnier souffle at Royal Palace was incredible the first time I had it, and has been more and more disappointing since then.

Agree with all things Palo and definitely the peal & eat shrimp day one. We know we are on a Disney cruise when:
  1. Mickey Bars and / or Warm Chocolate Chip Cookies with Milk from room service at night before bed
  2. Chicken fingers on the pool deck
  3. Breakfast Buffet

Drinks
Conch Cooler at Castaway Cay

The Fried Brie I had in Royal Palace one night. It was so good our serving team brought it to use the next night as well when we were in Animators. I don't know how much of the menu the ships share, but if those are in the MDR, then they are an "order double portions please" item for us.

Oh...the bacon and brie paninis from Goofy's Galley! Counting down the days till I can have one again :)

And another shout out for the chilled mango soup and chicken tenders!

Pretzel Bread and Cheddar Cheese Soup (not sure if this is on many menus) We were on the WBTA, reminded me of Le Cellier from Epcot.

Strawberry Soup and Mango Mountain Hike. I could keep eating those all day long. I don't want to know how many calories they are!

We were on 2015 WBPC and loved all of the chilled fruit soups in MDR. The different polentas were all great. The chicken tenders at the pool were good (when they were fresh and not from the warming tray) as were the fresh cinnamon covered pretzels with cream cheese inside! Mickey Bars...and a little cruise hack for you...since its so darn humid that far south, if you want soft serve, get TWO of the hot coffee cups, stack one inside the other and fill with ice cream. The ice cream would last 30-45 minutes!

Bancon and Brie paninis?!! be still my heart......
Sounds like it's a good thing I do the stairs only while I'm on a cruise... I may have to do more than usual on this trip. :rolleyes1
