Music from Soarin' ?? Danny Elfman? What movie(s)?

What movie is the music from that starts around minute 12 in the Soarin' Que music? (It is also in the other tracks.) The last file - Soarin' Theme - has it and is much shorter.

Film companies often use this clip in promotions for new movies before the actual score for the new film is finished.

I did some checking and the composer of the Soarin' music is the late Jerry Goldsmith, who has done a lot of films...

But what movie is that main theme from?!?!?!?!?!?

So it could be from the Right Stuff, but I can't find a clip for a Right Stuff recording that includes the theme of which I speak...

And thanks for bringing up The Last Starfighter. That sure does bring back memories! There is some good music on that score as well.

It's sounds very familiar but I can't quite put my finger on it
I will let my dad listen to it when he gets home and see if he knows which movie it's from

Not sure of the movie title (but I'm still checking).
I'm sure its by Randy Edelman who wrote the scores for (among others) "Indian in the Cupboard", "Dragonheart" and "Gettysburg".

Film companies use his themes frequently for trailers.
