What movie is the music from that starts around minute 12 in the Soarin' Que music? (It is also in the other tracks.) The last file - Soarin' Theme - has it and is much shorter.

Film companies often use this clip in promotions for new movies before the actual score for the new film is finished.

I did some checking and the composer of the Soarin' music is the late Jerry Goldsmith, who has done a lot of films...

But what movie is that main theme from?!?!?!?!?!? :confused3

I know one of the clips is from The Right Stuff and another is from The Last Starfighter

Taken from http://www.filmscoremonthly.com/articles/2001/25_Jan---Soarin_with_Goldsmith.asp

"Inside the new Disney's California Adventure, which occupies 55 acres across from Disneyland (which is 85 acres) on what use to be the DL parking lot, is an area called Condor Flats. It consists of a restaurant called The Taste Pilot's Grill, a souvenir shop and an attraction called Soarin' Over California. All the entrance music is movie related. You will hear strains of Bill Conti's "The Right Stuff" and Jerry Goldsmith's soaring themes from "The Blue Max" as well as "Patton" and "MacArthur." "

So it could be from the Right Stuff, but I can't find a clip for a Right Stuff recording that includes the theme of which I speak...

And thanks for bringing up The Last Starfighter. That sure does bring back memories! There is some good music on that score as well. :thumbsup2

I heard the theme from The Rocketeer while in line by James Horner

It's sounds very familiar but I can't quite put my finger on it
I will let my dad listen to it when he gets home and see if he knows which movie it's from

Not sure of the movie title (but I'm still checking).
I'm sure its by Randy Edelman who wrote the scores for (among others) "Indian in the Cupboard", "Dragonheart" and "Gettysburg".

Film companies use his themes frequently for trailers.

After doing some searching of sound bites on amazon.com, I found it. It is from the soundtrack of the movie, Dragon, the Bruce Lee Storyby Randy Edelman. Great music !!

Sounds like the one. Its another great Randy Edelman score, for sure!

Anyone who is interested should look up the other scores ("Indian in the Cupboard", "Dragonheart" and "Gettysburg") on Amazon.com and click to listen to samples of the music tracks.

They are AMAZING!
