muscle shirts

are muscle shirts appropriate for restaurants with the dining plan?:cool1:

You see them in the parks. I guess it's up to you. If you're asking for individual opionions, I'll throw my 2 cents in! :)

I can't stand them. I'm a muscley guy but think they're awful. Who wants to see someone else's arm pits most likely when they're all hot and sweaty? Especially at dinner time? Makes me a little hurley feeling. Please say no to muscle shirts.

Of course this is your vacation and you can wear what you want, but thanks for asking. Hope you have a great trip!

I guess it would depend on which resturant. If you are eating at a place in the park and you are there all day, then yes, it would be okay. If you are eating at one of the nicer hotels, then probably not. I have seen them in a lot of different places and I don't believe Disney will tell you they won't serve you, but personally, I don't like them either.

I agree...I like to wear them out in my yard because my whole body seems to stay cooler without sleeves...but I'm afraid all of the hair on my arms would scare the little kids at WDW!!! They might mistake me for The Beast!!

Although, it also might increase my chances for being selected to play the Beast at Storytime With Belle...hmmmm...decisions, decisions...

Thank you for thinking for the rest of us.:thumbsup2

Although that makes me a bit of a sexist hypocrite because I think women can wear sleeveless shirts and thick-strapped tanks (not spaghetti straps) and look very nice for a restaurant.

I don't think they are appropriate anywhere. We have some bad nicknames for those shirts.

Well that is because tank tops don't have armholes big enough to drive a mac truck through!

I don't like armpit hair either, but I can't really begrudge a guy from wearing a tank top. Women do it. A muscle shirt, IMO, is not appropriate because shows more skin than truly necessary. And for some strange reason most muscle shirts are ratty looking.

I say that muscle shirts should be banned from being worn ANYWHERE. I just think people look ridiculous in them-muscles or not!

Well, I think the biggest problem with muscle shirts is that fat, sweaty guys wear them. I gotta tell ya, ain't nothing worse tha standing in a crowded line behind a guy in one of those shirts thats been sweating all day and smells like cooked garbage.

If you're considering wearing a muscle shirt to a table service restaurant, just be aware that they probably won't let you take in your own 6-pack of budweiser, you'll need to order drinks off the menu :)

Not that it really makes any difference to the topic, but if the person wearing it really is a bodybuilder, then you will not likely see armpit hair b/c he would likely not have any. I personally only wear any form of tank top at the gym or on errands after leaving the gym. I am also not afraid to admit that I have done the whole body shave down for a competition before. I would never keep that up on a daily basis though b/c it is a lot of work!!!

:lmao: I work in a package store and I see these guys everyday!!! :rotfl2:

O gotta go with the one reply from the bikin thread.

Please post your pic for us ladies and we will let you know. :thumbsup2

Thank you all for your input. I'll take your advice for the restaurants but I don't see it being a problem wearing them throughout the parks. They won't be tattered as I purchased them brand new. I don't normally wear them, but I hear the humidity is very high and I thought it would be cool. This blogging is alot of fun. We're flying out on Aug 26 and I can't wait!pirate:

You don't know me too well. You shouldn't put lables on people. Those guys who buy the 6 pack keep the economy going and your job!:):rotfl2:

STELLA!!!!!!!!! :rotfl2: (You either get that one or you don't.)

Seriously, please do not wear these in a restaurant if you're a man.....or a woman with hairy armpits. :lmao: It's the HAIR that puts people over the edge, for the most part. Long, dangling, sweaty armpit hair. Ack! :scared1: The hair separates the guys from the girls, in most cases......Not all, but most. :rotfl:
