March 16th: "This is a Disney cruise."
Well, it was our last morning. At least I was spending the next week at WDW.
Snow White said bye. Very touching.
We had breakfast down at AP again.
One croissant, por favor.
Of course I loaded up on the wonderful Route 66 (I think that’s what it's called) which is an open face omelet with chicken, peppers, cheese, other wonderfulness. Yeah, it is great.
MR. PRICKLEPANTS FTW.
After breakfast, we said our farewells to our cousins, and we exited the beautiful Dream.
And oh, customs. What a fun time that was.
After getting our luggage, we stood in line to go through customs and it was a GIANT line. I mean, this line wrapped around the inside of the building. We hopped on at the end of the line and when we were halfway through, this woman cuts the people behind us. They don't say anything, but Mum did.
Oh, Mum.
Mum: "Do you not see line? You just cut everyone!"
Lovely Woman: "Oh it doesn't matter."
Mum: "We have all been waiting here and you just cut everyone."
Now, some words were exchanged that are not Disney appropriate, but Lovely Woman told Mum that she should calm down because "This is a Disney cruise."
So Lovely Woman was cursing at Mum but this is a Disney cruise....
Makes sense.
Shout out to Lovely Woman and all of the lovely things she kept saying about us. Love you too. I am glad you are feel more entitled than everyone else.
Anyways
We got the shuttle back to the parking lot and we drove back to our house before heading down to WDW.
Mum had to work for the rest of the week so I was there with ex-best friend.
I'm not gonna say anything else about that.
We were staying at my lodge for the first few nights before switching over to BLT.
Our room was ready when we got there, so we brought all of our luggage up and took pictures of the room.
Now, this was one of the refurbished villas and I don't understand one aspect of this room. Attached to the tv stand (there is a pullout bed under there like they have at the G Flo, the Poly, etc), there was a table and chairs. Where they usually have the table and chairs in the villas was just a big empty space. The table blocked the walkway between the bed and the TV stand. I just don’t understand.
Ok it doesn’t block the whole walkway but???
I LOVE this faucet.
After getting settled in, we went down to Roaring Forks and got refillable mugs for the week. Then, we took the boat to MK.
It was our first time seeing the new areas of the hub! They are beautiful.
We had a late ADR for lunch at Liberty Tree so we headed there.
We didn't have to wait too long to be seated.
I got the chicken craisin salad thing which I really enjoy.
And of course for dessert, this amazing thing had to happen.
We took a spin on the TTA after we finished lunch.
We went into the Emporium and they were selling these awesome bags (they are still out). I love them.
We took the boat back to WL and I got a snack - the Magic Cookie Bar!
We ended up staying the rest of the night in the room because I was in so much pain from my sunburn, and it was just getting worse.
Mum left around 7 to head back home. Woof.
