If you have been followin moi on Twitter, you know my twin is in town and I have been hanging out with her as much as possible. I will try to edit pictures and write as soon as I can! Do you mind sharing what settings you change your camera to in a low light setting like a ride or a show like FOTLK? And what about when you are taking light pictures for something like the Electrical parade or AK at night? Were you using a tripod in AK at night? LOVELY pictures as usual. For FotLK, my settings were at f/4.5, ISO 3200, and 1/200 sec. For AK at night, I did not use a tripod and my settings were f/3.5, ISO 1800, and 1/60 sec. Hope that helps! And thank you!​

Yes, yes. FINALLY an update. I have been having PD/MD (post Disney/meg depression) and have been like crying my eyes out for like days while eating my beloved mickey crackers. And doing homework because I like to live it up, and I sure don’t love that feeling.

January 11th: UM HOLY CRAP TODAY IS THE DAY

I was bouncing off the walls. Like legit going nuts. I WAS FINALLY MEETING MY TWIN AFTER ALMOST TWO YEARS. I met Meg on Instagram literally two years ago and then that continued on into tweeting, reading each other’s TRs… I WAS SO EXCITED.

Before going to OKW, we stopped at Chick Fil A and I was hoping we could get our food and just take it to go. BUT NOOOO. Mum had to take her sweet time and eat every last morsel of food. Ugh.

Once we got on the road, we got lost on Disney property aka what else is new.

Finally, we got to OKW and I was on Meg Watch.

There were no spots at the hospitality house so we parked at Meg’s building and it wasn’t that bad of a walk at all.

Meg was sitting by the hospitality house so we strolled on over there and then we both died. FEELS EVERYWHEREEEEEE. We hugged, we cried, we died. Omg, it was perfect.

We talked for like 10 hours, pin traded, and then talked some more. Then we met up with Meg’s friend Annie and we talked some more. #livinituplovethatfeeling

Meg had to get ready so we went to their grand villa and I was like “um no way.” A studio is basically the size of the grand villa’s kitchen so there’s that. I was not used to a room being that big.

The four of us went back to the hospitality house and met up with Meg’s mom and the rest of the gang. Meg’s mom (I am just going to call her MM from now on, even though that translates to Meg Meg but whatevs) didn’t want to go to Kona after the crap day she had at the airport so Mum and moi tagged along instead. The ADR was for three but they had no problem adding someone else on.

We went to the bus stop and Meg forgot her ears so we went back to the grand villa and of course a MK bus came while we were gone. Another one arrived a few minutes later anyways so it was all good.

I was really thirsty and had like no cash so I had to get some disgusting Florida water out of the BUBBLER.

Moving on…

We took the monorail to the Poly and checked into Kona.

We were seated in less than 5 minutes and Jes was our waiter. She took great care of us and was really nice.

We started off with da bread.

Mum and moi both got the noodles and they were really good. My only complaint is that there were too many pea thingys. Other than that it was good.

Meg and Annie both got the New York strip and they were in love.

The guy next to us didn’t finish his bread, and I really wanted to steal it. I took a picture of it instead. Don’t ask.

After we finished, Mum, moi, and Meg aka ¾ of 2 Megs, 2 Moms, went down to Captain Cooks and got dole whips. It was Meg’s first one and she loved it.

And we saw the Poly cat! His name is Figaro, and I was basically crying. HE WAS SO CUTE.

We headed down to the Poly beach and roasted some marshmallows. Then it started raining and Wishes was later than I thought it was, so we headed on out.

We met back up with Annie and decided to go over to the G Flo to see the Villa lobby again. Sadly, room tours ended at five.

This penguin is the definition of #livinituplovethatfeeling. He looks like he doesn’t give a bother.

We took the monorail back to MK and then took a bus back to OKW and boy, it was packed.

We got off and it was POURING so we made a run for it and Mum looked like she had just gotten out of the shower. Fun times.

I said a quick goodbye to zee twin since I would be seeing her the next day and we headed on home.​

January 12th: The tale of stoned mice, Feeling Goofy, kouzzis, and random people

The TTC was nuts. We were trying to make it to Epcot to see my twin run across the finish line but the line to park at Epcot was nuts and right when we were pulling under the MK gate, I got the text that said Meg had crossed the finish line. Great.

So we parked at the TTC and took resort over to the Contemporary. There was already a guy on our monorail that got done with the Dopey. He looked like he was in pain. Doesn’t surprise moi.

Instead of running, we got a cupcake. What else is new.

I saw the Frozen cupcake on Twitter and I HAD TO HAVE IT. IT WAS A MUST. And plus it came with a cute ring that I wore all day. #livinituplovethatfeeling

It was REALLY good but there was so much caramel in ours. I mean, I love caramel and all but this was just a little too much. And when you mix that will all of that frosting… I exploded. The end.

We decided to walk to MK. That was our exercise for the day.

We went to the Chapeau and got an ear hat for my twin. And we had to get manager approval on it. We wanted it to say Feeling Goofy and then under that, 39.3. So the CM had to call up a manager and get an ok. I mean, it wasn’t like we were just having it say Feeling Goofy. The 39.3 made it ok but whatever.

Meg ended up loving it. That’s what counts.

While we waited for the hat, we watched the Dapper Dans.

We picked up the hat and saw Matt in the crowd, who was all set up for the UCF parade so we stood with him and got ready to watch it. I mean, UCF is my future school and all, sooooo.

They decked out Main St with balloons.

It was PACKED.

While we were waiting, WE SAW PHIL HOLMES AKA VP OK THE MAGIC KINGDOM SO THERES THAT.

The parade was pretty quick, and I am sorry, but WHY IS GODS NAME did they use that ridiculous castle float and have Cindy and Prince Charming on it?!?!! I don’t even know anymore.

We said bye to Matt after the parade ended, and then we PRACTICALLY BUMPED INTO GEORGE KALOGRIDIS AKA PRESIDENT OF THE WALT DISNEY WORLD RESORT LIKE WHAT. We said hi but he didn’t hear us and then he went backstage. I was dying though.

We walked around for a bit and they were doing SO much filming. Gary from the Parks Blog was hanging out with Minnie.

We wanted a little something to eat before our ADR that night so we went to Friar’s Nook and split some mac and cheese. It was good, but they really should give you more. Just sayin’.

We made our way out of my Kingdom and took the monorail to the Poly. I did some pin trading and then waited for Meg and company to get there. They were running late and I was like “Oh they haven’t even started checking people in yet…” and then I realized that was the stand by line. Oops. They literally got there with two minutes to spare. HALLELUJAH.

I gave Meg her manager approved ears and she flipped out. She was basically in love with them.

We got called pretty quickly and I WAS READY FOR FOOD.

And oh yeah. We were going to Ohana. I guess I am way too excited about food pictures that I didn’t even say where we were going. Anyways…

Of course, we got the HEAVENLY BREAD FIRST.

We hadn’t been to Ohana since the menu changes, but I barely noticed a difference. Everything was still great. I know they changed the salad and something else but I really liked the salad.

WINGS AND POTSTICKERS DA NOMS.

NOODLES.

Some guy that was near us had a giant pile of shrimp and we were laughing so hard. I really should’ve gotten my picture with him.

We. Were. So. Full.

Then we took a bus to DTD for the “cool down party” which was LAMEEEE. There was no partay. It was an epic fail. But at least they had this awesome chalk art!

But we got to spin some prize wheel at Fit2Run and we all got KOUZZIS AND SUNGLASSES! So I of course wore the sunglasses and laughed hysterically about the kouzzi.

Mum later that night: “MY KOUZZI IS ON THE GROUND DON’T STEP ON IT!”

Don’t ask.

We took a bus to the Contemporary afterwards and took the monorail to the TTC.

They had a bunch of chalk art at the TTC.

We found the car and we all piled into it and by we I mean moi, Mum, Meg, Annie, and MM. We stopped at the Hess Station and then drove Meg, MM, and Annie back to OKW.

Mum to the CM at the entrance to OKW: “Hi, I am just dropping these random people off. I found them on the streets.”

We were DEAD. I couldn’t stop laughing for like 30 minutes. I love my mother.

We dropped off the random people, said adios, and headed back home.​

January 16th/January 17th (part 1): The start of the twin filled AK day!

So I am just going to include this little like paragraph here cause nothing much happened on this night sooo.

My twin was still in Disney and it was finally time for our sleepover at BLT!

After Mum got out of work, she drove moi over to BLT and the security guard was giving me weird looks when Mum said that she was dropping moi off. I mean, maybe he was looking because I had two stuffed animals sticking out of my bag so they could breathe, but that is PROBABLY not the reason…..

We met up with Meg in the lobby and we headed up to her room, which was a one bedroom and it was so nice.

Mum and MM talked for like five years while I admired Picasso Pluto…

Mum left at like 11:30 and then we got ready for bed. Sleeping over at Disney >>>>

We got up at like 6:45, well I did anyways. Meg was already up and ready and then I basically had a heart attack from the wake up call so yeah. Fun times.

The sunrise on this morning >>>>>

IT WAS AMAZING.

We were out the door at like 7:30ish and we walked on over to the Contemporary.

I CANT OKKK.

We took the monorail over to the Poly for some noms.

We both got tonga toast from Captain Cooks cause it is SOOO much cheaper than Kona’s and it is the exact same thing.

We both liked it but there was just too much banana. If they cut back on that, it would be perf.

After we finished eating, we went to the bus stop and took one to AK. And I just have to say, IT WAS SO CRAPPIN’ COLD OUT ON THIS DAY. EVEN MEG THOUGHT SO WHICH IS SAYIN SOMETHING.

We got to AK at like 8:15 so we shopped around for a bit at the pre-entrance shops and Meg went animal print cray cray.

But then the CM totally messed up and never did the discount so there was that.

They opened up the turnstiles at 8:45 and we may or may not have gone straight for THE BEST RIDE EVER.

And we were on the first ride of the day SO I/WE FELT SPECIAL.

The details, my god.

LOOK AT THOSE VIEWS.

I let Meg sit in the front so she could get the full experience. Of course, she loved it. WHO WOULDN’T. Ok, maybe Mum but whatever.

Then we went on Primeval Whirl. HITTIN UP THOSE BIG RIDES, YO.

Once it was over, the CM was like “do you guys want to go again?!”

WHY NOT!

My neck was pretty much broken by the end of it, but #YOLOdisney.

THEN we went on over to Everest. Our FP wasn’t until like 9:20 so we went on through stand by first and then with our FP.

The only ride pic I got of the day but whatevs.

After all of those thrill rides, we took a break and watched the tigers for a while.

It was time for our Kilimanjaro FP so we walked on over to Africa.

January 17th (part 2): Livin' it up at Animal Kingdom

After our safari, we were going to go see Nemo but the show had just started so we had to wait for the next one. In the meantime, we went to go see Russel and Dug.

SQUIRREL.

I am not even looking at the right camera but whatever.

Then we went to go see Pooh and Tigger because UM DUHHHH. Moi and Meg pretty much NEEDED to meet Pooh together.

Pooh loved Meg’s medals and was trying to run. I overheard the Photopass say “I don’t think that there will be a Pooh 5k anytime soon.” I told Meg after and we decided that that will be the ECV race. #poohsized

.

Next up was Tigger and Meg sang the whole Tigger Song to him and it was basically perf.

Idk what I am doing here.

I am in love with this pic.

Then we went to go see Nemo and Meg really liked it, since it was her first time seeing it and all.

I *think* that we went on Dinosaur after Nemo. I truly couldn’t tell you because I take such great notes and all.

We took the train to Rafiki’s next and looked around and listened to the rainforest and I have to say, that is pretty relaxing. They really shouldn’t shut the lights off though because I was almost asleep… until the chainsaws started up and then I had a heart attack.

Meg checked MDE and saw Poca was going to be meeting in like 5 minutes at Conservation Station and I was like “where is that?!”

I am so dumb.

We got in line, which was so messed up aka people everywhere. Thanks character attendant for fixing it.

After meeting Poca, we took the train back to Harambe because we had an ADR to get to!

We made our way back to Asia and checked into Yak and Yeti and were seated right away. Our table was in this little corner in a back room on the first floor, but it was fine. I love the details in there, so it was all good.

Our waiter was really good. I truly couldn’t tell you his name cause I take great notes like I already said, so we will call him Bob. You’re welcome.

Meg and I both got the chicken lo mein. That stuff is YUMMAY.

We passed on dessert and BOB NEVER GAVE US FORTUNE COOKIES.

So we stole them off another table cause that is how we roll.

After we paid and such, we headed down to Discovery Island so we could get a spot for the parade. We found a great one and were standing the whole time until it started. Other people started coming and sitting next to us, and didn’t leave much room. And then like ONE WHOLE MINUTE before the parade started, the guy behind us starts yelling “my children will not be able to see! Can you sit down?!”

We basically had to squish into this little spot on the ground so this guy’s stupid children could see. Like I wouldn’t mind but we were standing there for 30 minutes. You couldn’t have said something before?! Ugh.

Anyways…

Meg wanted to take some pics of the tree of life so that is exactly what we did.
