October 18th (part 2): Hallowishes from the Poly beach

Like two more Fantasmic pics for y’all.

They had a backstage area opened for an exit so we went through there and it brought us right to the turnstiles. YES!

We made our way to the car and then drove over to the TTC and then we took the monorail over to the Poly.

We headed down to the beach so we could watch Hallowishes again because OBSESSED.

I was testing out long exposure… by balancing my camera on my knees.

The water pageant started like right before Hallowishes started. Can you say ANNOYING?!

After that, we headed to Captain Cooks for DOLE WHIPS!

And it was the mad Dole Whip rush cause like everyone and their mother were there. It was ridiculous.

October 20th: "ADAM!" and heavenly beignets

We headed to MK on this wonderful Sunday.

I was craving a burger so bad so we split one at Cosmic Ray’s.

Then we got in line to meet Merida.

Now, we were starting our Christmas card today. I was going to have different characters hold up different letters so it would spell out Merry Christmas.

I asked Merida if she could hold one of the letters for me and she had to ask her character attendant if she could, which we found really weird. And she had to take the picture with me.

We found the whole thing kinda odd, but we moved onto more characters.

We were on our way to Storybook Circus and I SAW RABBIT AND BASICALLY PEED MYSELF.

Now Rabbit like NEVER comes out. He is SUCH a rare character and I had to meet him.

“One second please, I need to check on this girl that is basically on the floor dying.”

Life = MADE.

Then we went over to Pete’s Silly Sideshow to meet Goofy and Donald. We asked the character attendant there if they could hold the letters and he said no, they can’t hold signs anymore. I was like “WHAT THE POOPS?!” He said that this card company was taking pictures of characters holding signs that said “Wish you were here!” so people could send them to their families and they had no copyright license for the characters. And one person ruins it for everybody….

So there went that idea! Oh well.

Here is some bokeh instead.

We then headed into the Enchanted Forest and Gaston was out.

And LIKE EVERY OTHER SINGLE TIME HIS LINE WAS CLOSED GRRRR.

We went to Gaston’s Tavern to get some Le Fou’s brew.

“I USE ANTLERS IN ALL OF MY DECORATING!”

Perfection.

I took my Le Fou’s brew and we chilled in Pinocchio’s because Gaston’s Tavern ALWAYS smells like urine for some odd reason. I mean, I know there is a bathroom right there but COME ON.

There was also a legit bird flying around in the Figaro room. It was NOT an AA.

After relaxing for a little bit, we went over to the Laugh Floor.

This was the wait time for Phillharmagic by the way.

After the Laugh Floor, we just HAD to get in line for Gaston. Like, HAD TO.

So we went over there and we were first in line. YAY!

Gaston came out and there was this family right there that wasn’t really in line and Gaston was like “where is your husband?” to the mother. She said he was in the bathroom so Gaston LITERALLY WENT INTO THE BATHROOM and was yelling the husband’s name.

“ADAM!!! ADAM!!!”

He came back out and asked what color shoes he was wearing.

He went back in and then came back out and said he was doing “some business.”

Adam came out and was like “WHO WAS YELLING MY NAME?!” “um… GASTON!”

It was priceless.

Finally, I met Gaston and omg he was PERFECT.

I look so fat but GASTON!

I can’t.

I did some pin trading in Frontierland after that and then we made our way out.

I said hi to my BFF first.

We decided to take a bus over to Riverside.

I forgot how pretty that resort is.

We looked around in the gift shop for a few and then took a boat over to French Quarter.

We got some dinner at Sassagoula (aka my fave word) Floatworks.

We split the chicken alfredo and we both enjoyed it. It was very filling.

It also came with a side salad.

And OF COURSE, beignets!!! ♥♥♥ aka HEAVEN!

After we ate, we took a bus back to MK so we could get back to the TTC to get our car.

We took resort so we could stop at the Contemporary for some pin trading but there were no pin boards out ):

We took the monorail to the TTC and it was pretty packed. Some kid in our car was OBSESSED with Duffy. He was like “Now, Duffy is on the monorail!” and got so excited. I COULDN’T TAKE IT.​

October 25th: FEELS EVERYWHERE AT THE G FLO

Mum picked moi up at school and we headed right to DTD. There was so much traffic on I-4 (shocker, I know) and it took us over an hour to get there. It was ridiculous.

AND GUESS WHAT.

WE GOT A PARKING SPOT RIGHT AWAY I WAS SO HAPPY!

We got to DTD and while we were on our way to WPE (another shocker), we bumped into Kyle, our fave DVC CM! We hadn’t seen him in over a year and it was so funny to run into him. After talking for a little bit, I needed food.

Our choices at WPE should be no surprise.

After our early dinner, we made our way over to WoD.

In WoD, I got the 2014 poster calendar which is PERF, a 2013 pin, and a shirt.

I also said hi to one of my BFFs.

We looked around in a few more shops and then we took a bus over to the G Flo to CHECK OUT THE VILLAS!!!!!!

Seriously, the resort is gorgeous.

We walked over to the Villas (it is a VERY short walk from the main building).

They have this fountain on the way. I don’t know how it fits into the theming at all but whatevs. (sorry it is a little blurry).

WHO IS READY FOR SOME LOBBY SPAM?!?!?

I BASICALLY DIED WHEN I SAW THIS.

CAN WE JUST TALK ABOUT THIS FOUNTAIN.

Just stunning.

I know this doesn’t look as INCREDIBLE as the main G Flo lobby but oh. my. GOD. I was blown away and I just love all of the details. They are so amazing. And since it like just opened, the lobby is so clean and has the "new" scent to it. Seriously, I am in LOVE with those villas.

You can also check in, concierge, etc, right there. And they make it very personal because you actually sit down with a CM instead of stand at a desk. I love that.

While we were looking around, the best CM EVER came over to us and we started talking. His name was Sam and he worked at Be Our Guest for 9 months doing BUSSING. And now he is opening team for the Villas. Like, what. And he was SO nice.

The best part is that HE SHOWED US AROUND. He brought us into a studio and one bedroom which was so kind of him. This was our third time seeing those rooms but I am blown away every single time. He was GOING TO SHOW US A GRAND CRAPPIN VILLA TOO but they were all occupied. Seriously, he was the best.

We thanked him and then headed back to the main lobby so we could take the monorail over to the Poly since we heard they had Christmas merch out.

I also got the LE pin they had for the Villas. It is ADORABLE!

EEE!

We then took a bus from there back to DTD and it was SO packed. I have awful balance as it is, but when you stick moi on a bus and I have to stand, it ain’t pretty. Some guy let me hold onto his ECV so I wouldn’t fall over. Ridiculous, I know.

We got back to DTD and we were going to get an ice cream but the line was so long so we just said forget it and we headed home.​

October 26th (part 1): Chip and Dave, a programmed mouse, and I get my haircut in the Magic Kingdom

Oh hey.

We got to the TTC and the tram was RIDICULOUS. So we just walked up even though I am so lazy. But the tram <<<<

Once we actually got inside MK, we headed to Liberty Square to get some lunch.

I had never noticed this little area before. It is basically perfect.

We got lunch at Columbia and it was really good.

The theming in there is also AMAZING. I was dying.

And the second floor >>>

After we ate, we made our way into Frontierland and got in line for my favorite chipmunks.

And we heard someone call them while we were in line Chip and Dave.

*facepalm*

I am literally in love with them.

Chip took some stuff out of my bag and was showing the stuff off. I was dying.

And then Dale’s bandana fell off so we put it on moi. LIKE I COULDN’T DEAL.

After we took that pic, me and the PP helped Dale get his bandana back on. AND CAN WE TALK ABOUT THEIR VESTS.

I can’t.

Seriously, they spent SO much time with moi and had me cracking up. They are my new faves.

We made our way to Main St and watched these baby ducks for literally a half hour. I am not even kidding.

We were on our way over to the Plaza and bumped into this guy.

We both got some ice cream.

Mum got this, which I think is the All American Sundae but I think I am way off on that. Let’s just say it had peanut butter on it.

Or maybe I got the All American Sundae…. WHO KNOWS SERIOUSLY.

After our dessert, we went over to Town Square Theater so we could meet Mickey.

Talking Mickey, that is.

When we first got to MK, we had to get FPs because the line was so long. And they were for like two hours later…. I ain’t kidding.

Now, I wasn’t sure how I felt about the whole Talking Mickey thing but I decided to give the Big Cheese a chance.

Let’s just say right now that I will not be meeting Talking Mickey again. It was that stupid.

So I walked in and he was legitimately staring at himself in the mirror and talking to himself and I am standing there like “ummmm… hello?”

He turned around and came over to me and I asked him to sign my autograph book and he just stared/blinked at moi for like ten seconds and I was practically throwing my book at him so he would just sign the crappin’ thing.

“You want to hear a joke?!”

What was I supposed to say?! No, you stupid talking mouse? That wasn’t going to fly. So I just stood there and listened while he said his joke, which I didn’t even understand. And the answer was SO delayed.

I wrote in my journal: “THE MOUSE IS PROGRAMMED!”

Then we took our picture, which I will not be posting because it is so bad and I look so pooh sized.

He FINALLY signed my book right as I was walking out the door.

I look so annoyed.

Even after we were leaving, the programmed mouse was saying crap. Like, we already said bye. You don’t need to say it again when I am halfway out the door!

We decided to go into the Emporium after that crap.

Can we not.

And then pretty soon, it was time for my haircut appointment!

I am not kidding here folks.

We had to wait about 15 minutes and then I was called!

I think my CM was Briana and she was very nice.

At the end of my haircut, I got this do.

Thoughts:
Now, there is really nothing to my hair and all I need is a trim, and this is what I got here. She did it very fast, which is fine, but it really didn’t look like I got anything cut off. Well, my gay friend at school—not hating on gay people at all—noticed I got my haircut, but anyways…
But, I think this is more for the experience. I know people love this and do it every year on a trip, and this is something I would do every few years. It is kinda like “I did that and now I can check it off on my Disney bucket list” kinda thing. I enjoyed getting it done and Briana/Barbara was very nice. If you have a lot of hair/certain style, I don’t think this would be good for you. It was a fun experience, all in all!

We made our way into Tomorrowland and got FPs for Buzz for some reason.

And then we went on the TTA.

October 26th (part 2): LETS GO RED SOX!

After the TTA, we went on Buzz. The FP line was INSANE!

Our scores.

Then we went over to Storybook Circus and I did some pin trading.

We also went into the Enchanted Forest for a minute and look what appeared just that day!

We decided to head to the bus stops at this time to catch a bus over to the Boardwalk.

We walked around the Boardwalk for a little bit and I cried because CHRISTMAS!

And then I went picture crazy outside. This should not surprise you.

The point of going over to the Boardwalk was to watch the World Series at ESPN. It was only the third game but we thought it would be fun to watch it. At Disney. With food.

We had to wait for about a half hour because SO many people were there for the game. It was fine though.

Our waitress was Amy and she was very good. She did not rush us at all and she was very nice.

We started out with the dingers (yes that is what they were called) and they were HEAVENLY.

I just got a burger for my entrée.

And Mum got the pulled pork sandwich.

On top of all of that, we got a huge piece of chocolate cake. #poohsized #YOLO

And let me tell you, we were there for almost FIVE HOURS. I am not even kidding. I only get into sports when it is like the World Series or something and since the Sox were playing, we had to watch. And oh my god, we were outnumbered by Cardinals fans. Now, I hate St Louis/the Cardinals for many reasons that we will not be getting into, so this game was intense. And the Cardinals fans there were SO obnoxious, dear lord.

After almost five hours, we went to the bus stop to get a bus back to MK since that is where our car was! Thank God they were opened till one. (It was 12:30)

November 2nd (part 1): Making the most out of a rainy day at AK

BUT GUYS. THIS IS THE FIRST UPDATE FOR NOVEMBER AND IT IS STILL NOVEMBER.

I should get a medal.

Anways…

We got to AK on this rainy day and just sat in the car for a little bit until the rain calmed down a little. Seriously, the rain was awful. And it lasted most of the day. Oh well.

First stop was Flame Tree for some lunch.

They had an AWESOME pin board there with so many great pins. I was dying.

We found a spot right by the water.

AND GUYS THERE WAS AN ALLIGATOR. THIS WAS NOT AN AA.

We spilt the pulled pork sandwich which was very good. The bun was nice and soft, which was a bonus.

We also got some fries.

The rain still hadn’t stopped so we decided just to brave it and continue on our way.

We made the loop around Asia and got some hot chocolate and tea at the Royal Anandapur Tea Company. It was pretty chilly out so we needed it. And oh my GOD it was burning. We literally had to stop every time we saw a trash can to put it down. It was ridiculous.

We sat down in Africa, had our drinks, and devoured the zebra cupcake from Kusafari.

The rain had pretty much stopped at this point so we went on Kilimanjaro.

Then we made our way over to Asia.

Everest only had a 10 minute wait so DUH we went on!

Then we decided to go over to Pooh and Tigger’s meet and greet.

We are so cute.

Next up, Camp M&M.

I met Poca, and she was ok. I don’t think she had the look or personality down. I know someone who is friends with Poca in her spare time and she looks just like her.

Then I met Donald cause he had no line. And I look so bad in this pic but whatev.

He is too cute.

Then I met Chip and Dale because they are my BFFs.

Seriously, every single time I meet them, they are PERFECT. Like, I adore them.

November 2nd (part 2): Jammin' in the jungle and HOLY CRAP LIONS

Mum also joined in on the fun.

And remember that one time that the PHOTOPASS PHOTOGRAPHER recognized moi?! That is just sad.

We made our way out of Camp and we were going to head into Asia but the parade was going by.

MICKEY!

We were about to cross over the bride into Africa and it was closed because of the parade! It was going to be there any second so we decided to watch it because we never had before.

Parade spam comin’ atcha!

Seriously, the floats are INCREDIBLE.

After the parade was over, I got a Jungle Juice Slushie (aka heaven) and we chilled for a few.

We decided to go on Kilimanjaro again cause the wait wasn’t bad at all.

THE CHEETAH WAS UP REPEAT THE CHEETAH WAS UP!

As we were making our way over to the Lions, I HEARD ONE ROAR SO DID LIKE EVERYONE ELSE WE HEARD A LION ROAR I WAS DEAD.

And then I got this picture. I couldn’t deal.

After that amazing safari, we made our way out of the park and drove over to MK.

Like where can I buy one of these.

We got to the TTC and BOOOMMMMM CHRISTMAS ARRIVED!

We went up to Express and Monorail Silver was just sitting there. I heard a CM say that it was having “major problems.” Wonderful… So they made us move over to Resort and then moved us BACK over to Express. LIKE WHICH ONE PEOPLE.

Luckily, they dragged Silver back to the station to get fixed.

We got to MK and got our usual at Casey’s.

And almost all of the Fall decorations were gone!

The only reasons we went to MK on this night was one word: fireworks. They were playing Wishes, so nothing special, but I got my tripod and I needed to use it. LONG EXPOSURE NEEDED TO HAPPEN!

November 2nd (part 3): LONG EXPOSURE TIME!

After two long hours, IT WAS TIME!

But wait.

I figured this would give moi time to practice more long exposure so that is exactly what I did.

Here is how they came out.

After that crap, it was time for CTM and then WISHES!

Now, I was pretty anxious about this. I didn’t know how my shots were going to be, but I had to try.

Seriously, I am SO happy with how these came out. I think I shot these at a 5 second shutter speed, and then some at 10 seconds. I wish the castle wasn’t blurry in like all of these pictures, but THOSE FIREWORKS. That was the main goal and I DID IT!

I am so sad that this one came out kinda blurry. But it is SO COOL.

Like I said, I am very proud of those shots. This woman next to moi even asked if I was in photography school. Like, WHAT?!

After I packed all of my stuff up, we got a pumpkin spice waffle and a hot chocolate from Sleepy Hollow. Guess they had leftovers from MNSSHP!

I then met Ariel in her Grotto since there was no wait. Seriously, NOTHING had a wait on this night.

my aperture was at 10, shutter speed at 5, and iso at 100. I don't know why that happened!

November 3rd: Our last day at F&W aka THE TEARS

We got to Epcot and it was pretty crowded. It was going to be our last chance though to go to Food and Wine, so we braved the crowds and just ate.

We went to Club Cool first to try out all of the new flavors and I AM SO MAD. First of all, the flavors are total CRAP—NONE of them are good—and second of all, MY WATERMELON SODA IS GONE. YOU GUYS DON’T KNOW HOW SAD THIS MAKES MOI. Like that stuff was my LIFE. And now it is gone. TEARS EVERYWHERE.

To cheer moi up, we went to Germany and got more of the pasta gratin since it was so good last time. And no it does not look this orange.

Then we moved onto Italy and I got the sausage with peppers and bread. It was SO yummy. I love all of those things so it really hit the spot. Mum on the other hand, hated it.

We moved on and there was a really hot DVC CM in America. Mum wanted moi to pin trade with him, but I couldn’t. Because of reasons.

Anyways… We went up to the Chase Lounge to get a drink and then we continued our way around WS.

In France, I took some pics of the scenery…

…and then I forced Mum to take some pictures of moi jumping. I am only posting one because… well you will see.

Basically everyone on that Friendship boat is staring at moi.

Moving on…

Next up was the Canada booth where I got my beloved cheddar cheese soup. Except the cup was the size of basically a quarter. I ate it in about two bites.

While we were waiting for my soup, these women in front of us were testing all of the lemonades that were FOR SALE. Then when they went up to get their food, they asked the CM if they could pay for it right there and SHE JUST LET THEM HAVE IT! Ridiculous.

We then got the pork slider once again. That thing is AMAZING.

NorVAY was calling us so we walked over there.

We got in line for Anna and Elsa since they had started meeting. They come out every hour but only stay out for like 30 or so minutes so you have to start lining up for their next set while they are still meeting at the previous one. Let’s just say they are very popular.

They talked with moi for so long. They were really good! I don’t remember exactly what we were talking about but it had to do with snow, of course.

They were awesome.

After we met them, we walked over to Italy because Mum was craving pizza. We got some at the Via Napoli QS and it was good, but nowhere as good as the TS pizza.

Then we got the chewy caramel bar in Germany cause I NEEDED IT!

We walked clockwise around WS until we got to Future World.

Since it was a Sunday and I had school the next day of course, we headed out.

November 5th: The first castle lighting of the year!

I never took any notes for this day so shame on moi. It was just a quick little trip too and I wasn’t going to include it at first because of that but I figured I should because CHRISTMAS!

Mum picked moi up at school and we went right over to the Magic Kingdom. Yes, on a Tuesday night, but I had no homework so WHY NOT! And it was the first castle lighting so YAY!

On the way over, I made an ADR for the Plaza and it got so messed up. Somehow, we ended up with two ADRs for the exact same time. My Disney Experience for ya. The CM found it weird when we checked in but they could seat us right away.

We got to the TTC and we were running a little late for our ADR but whatev. Not my fault the tram and monorail are ridiculous!

We got into MK and BOOM CHRISTMAS EVERYWHERE! Seriously, we were there three days before and there was no sign of Christmas except the sign at the TTC and HERE IT WAS!

I was jumping out of my skin.

OMG OMG!

We headed straight for the Plaza after I died. Like I said, there were some problems, but they got us right in and we were led to the back room. We had a view of the castle!

I don’t have any notes for this meal so here is just what we got.

Mum had the philly cheesesteak and I guess she enjoyed it, idk.

I had the plaza club which always is amazing. Sorry for the bad pic, I was so hungry and wanted to dig in.

We passed on dessert because we were so full and made our way outside.

And HELLO RAINBOW!

Daisy is all ready for the holidays.

We went into the Confectionary and I drooled over all the holiday goodies.

We looked around in the Emporium for a few. I LOVE all of the displays in there.

We wanted to get a good spot semi-early for the castle lighting so we made our way over to the Hub. Pretty soon we were joined by our friend Matt and Kathy Werling from the DISunplugged!

And then Matt and I bashed on the Move It, Shake it, Awful! parade.

Then it was time for the castle lighting! EEEE!

I was so excited to see the show they do before because I never got to see it last year. I WONDER WHY THAT IS……..

Seriously, it so cute and I was dying.

AND THEN BOOM TEARS AND FEELS EVERYWHERE!

We said bye to Matt and Kathy and then we went to see our other friend Morgan. The amount of Disney friends we have is ridiculous, seriously.

After we talked to her for a few, we went to the Confectionary to get a little snack.

We found a spot by the Plaza and chowed down.

After our snack, it was time to head out.
