Mum and moi take Orlando: the never-ending trip report (aka we are nuts) NEW 5/20 x4!!!

November 8th (part 1): Checking into SSR and the not so great Jingle Cruise

Mum got moi out of school early because we were having a pep rally and I did not want to go, so she just picked me up.

And off to Disney we went!

We were staying over at SSR this night because we were going to MVMCP.

We got to SSR and checked in. It was packed because the Wine and Dine half, it was a holiday weekend, and first MVMCP, so we had to wait a little bit to check in, but whatever.

We brought our Magic Bands that we got in the mail for another upcoming stay (that is happening this weekend) and we asked if we could use them and she said yes, but gave us KTTW cards anyways because she didn’t think they would work to get into the room. Um yes they did you idiot!

And I have to say, the CM’s nails were not Disney look standards. Like, I don’t think you can paint them dark brown. Just sayin’.

Before we went to our room, we got a snack because I was so hungry.

Seriously, these things are so good.

After I finished, we made our way over to room 4505, in the Paddock.

The rooms at SSR are so nice. I love them.

BUT MAXIMUS!

Our view was so pretty.

I then hopped over the bushes so I could get more pictures. #rebel

After we watched a few loops of Stacey, we went to the bus stop to wait for a MK bus.

My Magic Band!

We had to wait a very long time for a bus, and you will notice that this happened a lot.

We got to MK, got our tickets, and headed on in!

Seriously, the maps this year for MVMCP are awesome.

First stop was the fire station so we could get the MVMCP SoTMK cards so we could sell them on eBay…

We got FP+ for the Jingle Cruise so we walked over there. And it was so easy! We had no problems using it for FP.

The FP line was a little long, but it only took about 10 or so minutes.

The names for the boats are pretty awesome.

The decorations at the dock are so detailed.

Now if they could make the actual ride as good as the queue, Disney would have a winner on their hands. But the ride itself was stupid. Like really, they could have least stuck a Santa hat on an elephant. SOMETHING. The jokes were funny, but they really need details on the ride to make it great. And we heard a CM say to a fellow skipper “well that was awkward…” Guess some didn’t have the spiel down… If they do the Jingle Cruise again, they need to improve some things, but they could do it.

After that, we made our way into Fantasyland for some dinner.

November 8th (part 2): Gettin' jingly with it at MVMCP

We went over to Pinocchio’s and got some dinner. It was good but not worth $30. At all.

Mum got a caeser salad.

I got the meatball sub.

We also split some breadsticks.

For my drink I got the lemonade with wildberry foam. That stuff is GOOD.

After we ate, we headed over to Sleepy Hollow to see what the “seasonal flavor” waffle was.

Mum got in line while I took some pictures of the pretty castle.

THEY TOLD HER PUMPKIN SPICE. Um what?! How is that possible?! I have heard since then that it is gingerbread but who knows, seriously.

It was almost seven and we got in line at the Heritage House so I could get a MVMCP pin.

Tiana’s area was so pretty!

First stop: cookies and hot chocolate.

Shockingly, the hot chocolate was actually hot this year! YAY!

We checked out Woody’s Hootin’ Jolly Somethin’ or Other Dance Partay.

Those characters were gettin’ down!

Then we went over to Main St to see the SNOAP!

There was this huge open space, so what do you think I did?!

Skipped and sang to Christmas music of course! It just had to happen.

And people waiting for the parade actually clapped for moi! I was dying.

Then we went back to Fantasyland, said hello to the Dwarves…

…and then got in line for Minnie. She was so cute!

I can’t.

We continued into Tomorrowland and went into Club Tinsel. It was weird, to say the least. Like everyone was eating at Cosmic Ray’s and then there was just a random dance partay with Santa Goofy fist pumping. It was odd.

Getting jingly with it… oh my dear god.

The lighting during parties is fantastic.

Of course, it was cookie and hot chocolate time again.

We made our way to “our spot” on Main St so we could watch Holiday Wishes and the parade from there.

I am obsessed with the snoap.

I had to do it.

November 8th (part 3): "BALLS EVERYWHERE!"

So CTM started and they put the holiday part at the very end…?! Everyone thought it was over since the fireworks went off and all, and then the castle turned into a gingerbread house. They have always put it in the middle so idk why it is at the end now.

Then it was time for Holiday Wishes. Now, I like Hallowishes 1000000000x better but Holiday Wishes is still great. Most of my shots came out like crap but here are a few.

Before the parade started, I went over to the Crystal Palace to get some hot chocolate.

The decorations there were SO CUTE!

FEELS EVERYWHERE.

After I got our drinks, I headed back to our spot.

Christmas bokeh!

They did a little preshow before the parade and Mum was like “BALLS EVERYWHERE!” Or maybe I said that… Who knows.

Kinda sad that Daisy and Donald weren’t in their carriage this year.

November 8th (part 4): Chillin' with our toy soldier boyfriends

More parade pics cause duh.

After the parade, we got a spot for the castle show. I truly don’t even remember what it is called. It is cute, but stupid at the same time. I’m not hatin’ on the performers cause they are great, but the plot and stuff is crap.

We made our way down Main St because it was after midnight at this point.

Mum went to go visit her boyfriend.

So did I and we are madly in love.

We went up to the train station for some more pics before leaving.

Of course, SSR had the longest line. Two buses came and took most of the line away. And then there were us and about 15 other people. We were waiting for well over 30 minutes. A WL bus was just sitting there. It is so ridiculous they even have a bus to my house when there is the boat.

The WL driver came over and told the group to get on her bus and she would take us back to SSR. OH MY GOD I WAS DYING. Seriously, all CMs should be like that.

When we got off, we told her she was the best CM of the night. We even gave her recognition the next day at MK because she needed it! It was so nice of her to do that.

We got back to the room after one, watched Stacey for a few, and fell asleep.​

November 9th (part 1): A Christmasy lunch at Be Our Guest

We got up at 9 and got ready.

We walked to the Carriage House, and it really didn’t take that long.

For breakfast, Mum got some sort of crumb cake.

And I was reunited with my CHOCOLATE CROISSANTS! I missed by babies.

After we ate, we went to the Springs bus stop and waited for a bus to MK. It took 5ever.

We got to MK and noticed they put up the awesome Jingle Cruise poster.

We also noticed they put up new window displays overnight. They were so cute!

The Mayor was out so I took my picture with him. He is the best.

After I met the mayor, I found a pin I REALLY NEEDED to complete a set and waited about 10 years to get it because the CM was helping someone. I DON’T CARE I NEEDED IT.

It was almost time for the Christmas Trolley Show—#limitedtimemagic—so we stuck around to watch it.

We made our way through the castle after that.

We headed into New Fantasyland to see the Christmas decorations.

And OMG they are themed SO well. I am in love with them.

Then it was time for our FP+ reservation at BOG! We checked in at the booth and we headed right past the line of people on the bridge. VIPs coming through!

Now, you can either pick what you want to eat and pay for it when you make the FP+ reservation online or you can just order when you get there. We decided to just order when we got there.

And we could use our Magic Bands instead of the roses! SO COOL.

We found a table in the ballroom.

We had our usual, duh.

And we both got a strawberry cupcake. Those things are da bomb.

After we ate, we checked out the Christmas decorations.

I died.

DISNEY NEEDS TO SELL THESE ORNAMENTS.

The tree is just gorgeous.

We were at Disney this weekend to run the Wine and Dine Half! Thought about going to the party Friday night, but we weren't arriving until late and we didn't want to wear ourselves out too much!! Too bad I didn't run into you!

November 9th (part 2): That time MUM WENT ON TOT and the OSBORNE LIGHTS!

The BOG tree is just amazing.

They even had wreaths up with the best ornaments ever.

We made our way back to Main St after lunch.

We had FP+ reservations over at MGM that afternoon so we took the monorail to the G Flo to look at the gingerbread house and then we were going to take a bus from there.

GINGY!

We went to the bus stop and a MGM bus came shortly after.

We had a FP to use right when we got there and GUESS WHAT IT WAS!!!

THE TOWER OF TERROR!

I tried to tell Mum for MONTHS that the ride isn’t even that bad. She had only been on it once before when they just dropped you once and that is no fun! She agreed to finally go on!

She basically lost her mind. She was SO scared and I was dying laughing.

The ride sequence wasn’t even that bad, seriously. She lived though!

I look so confused and Mum looks like she is from the 80s with that big hair.

Now, Mum hated it. She said she would go on again at a later time, so YAY!

I found this shirt in the gift shop. I loved it.

We were making our way down Sunset when we saw our DVC buddy Kyle and his sidekick Will. Omg they are the best. They were doing karaoke and we were basically dying. We talked to them for about 20 minutes, and then went over to Animation to see how long the line was for a class.

It was really long so we just looked around for a few at the art and such.

Hey!

We looked around in the princess shop outside for several minutes. I NEED THESE.

Then we went into One Man’s Dream aka TEARS EVERYWHERE.

We watched the movie and I basically couldn’t deal.

It was time to use our TSM FP so we walked over there and got in line.

There were these women that TOTALLY cut us off so Mum said very loudly “OH THAT’S OK! ITS NOT LIKE WE WERE IN LINE OR ANYTHING!” And THEY gave us a dirty look. Like what the crap?!

Yay!

Bokeh everywhere.

OF COURSE MUM WON GRRR.

We got a cream cheese pretzel after we BROKE THOSE PLATES and holy crap, it was YUMMAY.

Here is the awful view we had.

It was almost time for the OSBORNE LIGHTS to be turned on so we went over to the Streets of America. It was PACKED over there but I didn’t care because the OSBORNE LIGHTS.

November 9th (part 3): "Mommy, some weird lady was talking to me!"

More OSBORNE LIGHTS cause duh.

We had RNRC FP to use and when we were on our way out, we bumped into Matt. He went on his phone and could get a FP for the same time as ours—how cool is that?!—so we all walked over to Sunset together.

Since there were three of us, one of us had to sit with a stranger so Matt and I voted for Mum and she had to sit with this little boy who would not say one word to her. She was like “Hi there! You might be deaf because I scream a lot…” and he just looked away.

Matt: “After the ride, the kid is going to be like ‘Mommy, some weird lady was talking to me!’”

I am still dying over our ride pic.

“It looks like you just saw a demon!”

Matt had to go back to his apartment so after we said bye, we headed back over to the OSBORNE LIGHTS CAUSE I CANT GET ENOUGH!

I’m not obsessed with the OSBORNE LIGHTS or anything……..

The park was almost closed so we headed to the bus stop to get back to SSR since our car was still there.

Of course, we had to wait 5ever for a bus, and once one came, we had SUCH a ghetto bus.

We got off at the Springs and went to the Artist’s Palette for some dinner.

I got the turkey club with homemade chips. Those chips are SO good.

Mum got the dinner special, and idk what it was. Maybe some sort of chicken…? It looked really good though!

After we finished eating, we walked back to the Paddock, got the car, and sadly, headed home.​

November 16th (part 1): A GIRAFFIC JAM!

We got to AK. And it was pouring. ONCE AGAIN. IDK why this always happens to us but whatever.

We got there semi-late and it was almost lunch time so I wanted food. I was craving Flame Tree again so we went there. Let’s just say Mum was in a mood and didn’t want to go there…..

I got the chicken salad for my lunch and it was good. It was a bit spicy, but I enjoyed it.

I have no clue what Mum got. She was just crabby and so yeah….

After we ate, we looked around in the shops around Discovery Island.

We then made our way over to Nemo: DA MUSICAL! and waited to see if the rain was going to let up.

Thank God it was only sprinkling when we got out.

We headed over to Kilimanjaro and we had the WEIRDEST CM ever. He literally sounded like he was doing a radio show or something. It got ridiculous after awhile, but he was really into his job, so I have to give him props there.

I JUST WANT TO PET YOU.

And then a giraffic jam occurred. Seriously, SO many giraffes were out and kept standing in the middle of the road, so of course we had to stop. But they came really close to our truck and I COULDN’T DEAL.

Is that a tongue moi sees?

He’s like “Hey bro, we are causing a giraffic jam LOLOLOL.”

I told youuuuu.

Someone looks angry.

Moving on…

Seriously, that safari was da bomb. Even with radio show host.

We made our way into Asia and LOOK WHAT I FOUND! Yes, already.

Everest had a short wait so we went on and there was this Plaid behind us that was doing a private tour, and I have to say, he was not a good CM. He barely talked to the family like once. How lovely…

Mum looks like the yeti.

Then we walked along the Maharajah trek. Not many animals were out but THESE DETAILS.

We then went over to Discovery Island to get a spot for the parade since they switched over to the Christmas edition.

The Christmas details on those floats are perf.

Ok so this family on one of the floats had these goofy hats on with REINDEER EARS. Like why don’t they sell those?!

AND HOLY CRAP GOOFY’S FLOAT IS INCREDIBLE.
