I think if you have two waitlists for the same dates and same guests, they will cancel if one fills. If what comes through is your 2nd choice, you gave to reset up a new waitlist.

It "should" work this way, but it hasn't recently. A member reported a couple months ago that a waitlist filled correctly and they didn't manually cancel their second waitlist. Then that one filled also, and borrowed almost all of their next year's points to give them two reservations at the same time. It didn't cancel the room from the first filled waitlist, it just booked a second room. It apparently took a long time and multiple supervisors on the phone to get it fixed, but they ultimately did get the erroneous borrowing reversed.
Always manually cancel your second waitlist when the first fills, or at a minimum check your account to verify that the second list is no longer present.
